I think he is talking about bitsend android wallet, nothing related to coinomi.... If you just read the first page of this topic you will also find a guide on how to recover private keys from bsd android wallet.

How to recover from an Android wallet backup?

I'm getting pissed off.

You need to explain in detail what went wrong, I don't have first hand experience with BSD android wallet but it also works like the normal desktop wallet when it comes to wallet recovery and backup.

My experience is that Android wallet no longer syncs. Therefore I cannot simply restore my keys with it. The Bitsend website now points to Coinomi as the Android wallet furthering my suspicion that the classic Android wallet no longer works.

I tried doing the Android key recovery guide however the Bitsendj client also does not sync. Seems like the Bitsend network has very bad connectivity problems. I was able to convert my Android (protobuf) keys to mnemonic or BIP39 extended but neither seems of any use since Electrum does not support Bitsend.

Do you see the problem now? I've done everything but cannot use my perfectly fine backup. I kept perfect care of my keys but I think this project is on the fritz.

I don't see any problem on two PC and you was the first one who said here about it. On what block did you stuck?

Every free party has to end some day, and Bitsend airdrop has to end (soon). There are so many complaints in community that Bitsend generous airdrops over years forced the price falling down, and the team have shown signals to make scam exit. I don't think they were right with such judgement on Bitsend airdrops and the team. However, the team have kept all of their promises to maintain many rounds of airdrops as planned orginially so far. Now, it is time to count down to the end of the airdrop, from which investors whom have interests in Bitsend have to pay for it. There is nothing free from Bitsend team (airdrops) after the last round of airdrops finished.

Yes, me too, the airdrop amount I have been receiving keeps dropping by 1 each week, so it appears we should still have 5 more weeks to go?

Instaswap has very impressive graphic designs. For long holds, one must try to backup private keys instead of wallet backups because you never know until when the wallet will be supported. I do this for all my coins: Bitcoin, Ethereum, Bitsend, others.

Any kind of good news within recent days don't have too much meanings when bitcoin rose up like this. Unfortunately, after bitcoin stopped its rises, and corrected like we saw hours ago, altcoins might witness another negative effects from bitcoin movements. It is too bad recent days when any directions of bitcoin always caused negative movements of altcoins. Bitcoin rose, altcoins fell; bitcoin dropped (corrected), altcoins decreased.
