The devs should better take a look at this link:
https://chainz.cryptoid.info/bsd/

That's the only block explorer I know for bsd and they are about to take it down. The project looks like its abandoned tbh. No news, no development, no word from the devs...

That's sad to hear , that to everything else and ended hosting on the block explorer site , but I think the team will still fix it, otherwise it will be quite sad with the project
since losing in cryptopia I've forgotten this project and the more gloomy after seeing this the more unclear what kind of future this project will be, maybe I'll forget forever

I've been holding this coin from Bittrex and buying and selling it too. And they delistesd it to from their market and i think its because of the lack of volume and few people are trading this coin.

And i transferred it too Livecoin.net and sold it. I don't know if the team is updating their project and there is no block explorer sctive as per checking it on coinmarketcap.

Had liked the dev to stay with this coin instead putting energy in multiple other coin projects. It might or might not have lead to another outcome who knows. So sad to see the coin lost all it's values and is dieing every day a bit more. It's slowly bleeding out and nothing gonna stop that. Anyone an idea how many masternodes are still running?

I am interested to see what's happening with the masternode count of a dieing coin. I don't think you can run any BSD masternode profitable anymore and given this I wondered why the count didn't drop sharply alongside the value. Now there is no count anymore.

Most alts have suffered with the current state of things and you are correct masternodes do not provide a source of income for people as the rewards are very low currently. The only reason people have to stay on board is because they think the dev is here for the long run and will keep the project functional through the hard times. Once projects disappear because people cant make a ton of $$$ we start to see who is still here for the long term.

I am running masternodes on my VPS that i already had for other things
Every few months i get one extra masternode as reward
So if the price wil go up its basicly free income
it will happen for sure when the next altseason comes

Dogecoin for example has no development and pumped hard past altseason

Take a look at past bear market in 2015/2016

Its the same as now

So huge opportunity to buy Bitsend now and run masternodes

You are talking about Bitsend (BSD)? When you say a few months and get one extra MN, you mean 922 days annual ROI from BSD masternode?
I remember a time when BSD masternode was worth $25k.
I do not see a way how will BSD going from $300 daily volume to any bear market in the future. Delisting from reputed exchanges is not a good way.

I remember a time when BSD masternode was worth $25k.

At some point it was above $40k but that time is long gone. Now a MN costs only 150 bucks. Crazy ha? Why haven't bitcoin fallen that much but bitsend? That's what happens when the price moons without any adoption backing it up.

Crazy because even such a cheap price is not enough to convince people to run a masternode and wait for better times when cumulating rewards.

This is only telling me one thing, that Bitend is on the same path, like many other masternode coins, that are already abandoned and worth nothing.

It is hard to believe that Lemix Dev doesn't have a minute to answer a couple of questions here or just to update the project status, as it should be done a long time ago because this is an official Bitsend ANN thread.

...I will write a pm to limx dev just to be sure he see this expiration problem. I hope it could be fixed, as a coin explorer is really needed and this one is also reported on bsd official site.

Have you done it? If yes, have you received any answer?

This is just insane to do nothing and just watch how Bitsend is dying slowly but I already have seen this happen in other projects and actual situation looks exactly the same.

First, the price keeps falling until reaches almost 0$, in the meantime, there is almost no development and the team abandons the project.
Second, coin starts to be delisted because volumes are so low that exchanges have no interest in maintaining such coin.
Third, problems start to occur, there is no strong exchange masternodes and chain splits begins or other problems with explorers start to happen, no team to act on time and disaster is completed.

I hope we will see a different scenario for Bitsend and that Limix dev will finally wake up or admit that BitCore is the only project they are focused on.

For the must BSD enthousistics like us, the issue to run a BSD masternode is that BSD is not buyable in my exchanges : only in 2 very little exotics exchanges (and 2 more, but with 0 volume).
And I don't want to create an account, to give all the KYC informations in an exotic exchange and loose fees to make a withdraw to this exchnage... only to buy few BSD to make a masternode.

My favorite faucets to earn real free bitcoins/satoshis : Moon BitCoin and Bit Fun.
You want some free AltCoins ? It's here : BCH (Bitcoin Cash) Moon BitCoinCash - DASH (Dash) Moon Dash - DOGE (DogeCoin) Moon DogeCoin - LTC (LiteCoin) Moon LiteCoin.
You want some free LBC (Lbry Credits) ? My LBC invite : Lbry.tv - LBC (Lbry Credits).

It means for me: are devs active yet? Is the code updating too? Thank you.
Last wallet update was on 04/11/2018 as you can see on github releases: https://github.com/LIMXTEC/BitSend/releases
The main developer (Limx dev) has been last active on this forum yesterday, but he made the last post on this topic on 19/07/2019. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1370307.msg51881997#msg51881997

This is indeed true and I see that Limix dev was again active on the Bitcointalk forum a couple of days ago but haven't posted from July, I suppose.

Has anybody from the community contact with Limx dev? But even if, I don't know if this will change anything?

He knows exactly what is happening and chooses to just ignore it, as it seems. Not the best info for Bitsend holders.

I have been holding a few coins from the airdrop until now but it seems like I have lost a reason to keep holding it again after waiting for several months,
there is no activity and there is no update in the code source.
does BitSend have any other utilities other than Masternode and Passive Income?

Could anyone tell me what happened with BSD on Bittrex? Both wallet and trading are locked over there. Just for the case I have kept a few hundreds of BSD over there but now can't do a thing with them.

Bsd didn't have any good trading volume so bittrex decided to remove bitsend. They made an announcement before removing bsd pairs from the exchange. You should have followed them. I don't think you'll be getting your coins but it wouldn't hurt if you contact the exchange  support.

I did it immediately after I have post that message. I didn't receive any answer but short after that the expiring message on bitsend explorer disappeared. So the problem have been solved. Anyhow I'm not sure if limx dev have read my pm.

So, we still don't know anything. To be honest no answer is also an answer  Wink.

As I said before, Limix dev knows exactly what is going on with the Bitsend project and just seems to not care anymore.

Sorry to say this, but I just share my honest opinion about this situation.

If nothing changes soon then I am sure Bitsend will be delisted even from these shitty exchanges is still listed on and this will be the end of this project.

Never thought that Limix dev will abandon Bitsend after so many announcements that the development will be continued, despite his involvement in Bitcore and other projects.

Where are you Limix Dev? Do you accept so easily the end of Bitsend and will give up without a fight?

No, correct is to say any answer is still information, good or bad but we know something.
We would like to hear something from Limx Dev. Not much time has passed since we asked from forum moderators to be unbanned because he is necessary for the future of this coin.
