Thanks everyone for your helpful replies. I did manage to save the .dat file with my Dubaicoins in it. I rebooted and ALL my money was gone. So I decided to use my saved .dat file and reload the wallet, it read it like it was new, had no money in it. I tried it on another computer with same results. Sadly lost ALL of my Dubaicoins. Don't know what happened, I am not new to Cryptocurrencies and have never had this happen with any other coin or wallet. Not sure if there is anything I can do about it.

If you are not using coin control then you MUST backup your wallet every time to send coins. If you use coin control and make sure all of you coins are on the same address (private key) then you only need to backed your wallet once. If you make new address then you need to backup your wallet after each new address.

If he has maded a proper backup of his wallet.dat there's no way he can lose his coins You would think that, but I seem to be the exception. I will tell you exactly what happened. I sent the coins from Yobit exchanger to my wallet, worked perfectly, coins arrived very fast. i made a back up, then sent it to my cloud and saved it on 2 other back up drives. Rebooted computer and the wallet reset itself to default, all settings gone and money also. I then added the .dat file and it was like nothing was on it. Very strange, never happened to me before, I figured the back option for the wallet itself was faulty and it did not work as it was supposed too. I heard there is a way to extract the data from the .dat file without using any wallet, don't think it would work since it seems the back up is blank.
