Somemtimes trading can feel like gambling but you actually have much more control with trading. Gambling is blind. Trading takes skills. Its like that for me at least.

Hey people,

I've always been a huge gambler. I like creating useless schemes (as we all know bank always win ^^) and betting whole nights long in order to find THE right way of betting.
But I need change, I can't bet over and over on the same game cause after I see that nothing can be done to change the odds, I'm bored.

So I thought a bit about trading and I started not so long ago. and it feels a bit like a betting game without knowing the odds and with an infinity of parameters!

Does anyone else takes trading as a gambling game? Smiley

Hi. I remember you being one of constructive criticizers of my tips thread (the locked down one from February to May 31) and I think I should invite you to my new tipping thread, which is with statistics and wins - or + , it has a large balance of 3250mBTC (well about 85 mBTC more as that is the profit) and I have 7 wins and 9 losses but I am still in profit there. Since you are trying to create schemes why don't you follow me if you have a large bankroll, my new tipping thread is aimed to high rollers. Regards.

Yes, because of the risk both of them involve. Though, you can play smart when it comes to trading and win big (e.g. Soros). Gambling is all about luck.
I think there is a risk, not always about gambling right? investment risk but it was not included in the gambling? perhaps as well as trading. trading requires skill and knowledge you can predict with a good price if you have skills in the market.
you will not be able to do it in gambling

While FOREX traders considered themselves financial consultants while risking money playing their strategy on the market doesn't mean they didn't gamble really. Smiley
I'm a trader myself but considers trading gamble still even when there is the chance to out smart thru the trading system.

Yes trading considered also as gambling because of the money involved, both gambling and trading have risk on losing on your money but in my opinion trading do have less risk cause  you can trade smartly which lessens the  risk of losing your funds. While in pure gambling its a matter of luck and it doesnt any require a skill . If youre lucky today then good if your unlucky then cry.  Grin

Trading is way better than gambling because the fact that many have been rich because of trading and in gambling many have ruin their lives. In trading you will live a progressive life as overtime you will learn the techniques to make money.

Yes they are the both same trading if you buy coins then that coins get dump you lose a money and the same to gambling if you have no luck you lose all your money. Gambling is so risk for who want to earn easy money. In trading not much a risk because if you lose in one coin buy another one then sell it higher price.

i guess it was not the point the difference between trading and play at casino as gambling.
trading mean we buy and sell something at right price to make profit and it is needed knowledge & experience.
gamble at casino mean we don't have need any experience or knowledge to start gamble , just do it and hope you are the winner. pretty different.

Yeah right both are risky but they are still different because gambling is betting your bitcoin unlike trading because you are buying altcoin and trading has low risk than gambling.

Yeah that is true trading and gambling are different thing but to play altcoin I think that it will be considered as gambling as well because if you can choose good altcoin and buy it when dump and sell it when it is pump you will sure earn a lot but this is really risky thing meanwhile trading method is have almost lowest risk ever and altcoin is really same as dice game with really high odds so if you are luck enougj you will earn a lot

Trading in most small altcoins has the same risk as gambling. One second you are up 100% a few seconds later you are down 100%.
Too risky to trade in some altcoins.
There is no difference in trading and gambling both works same way.You can not predict or can not influence the result. You trade in hope of getting profit and many times fail to read the market.Gambling works same where we play to get money but lot of times thing go vise versa and we loose money in both.Nothing is safer neither trading nor gambling.

But for me, Trading is good if you have enough knowledge to do it, unlike gambling you don't need to learn something or no need some seminars to attend, you can just play for whatever or whenever you want as long as you have money to bet.

Yes, both works the same way . Anyone cant predict what would be the result if its win or lose.  Hence, trading is more profitable if you have the knowledge to it but in gambling as you said there are no seminars to attend or any other things that you must learn. Just place a bet and youre good to go.

Trading without any knowledge and good tips have similarity with gambling, in trading people can survive if they go with proper research, gambling is sudden death there is no chance but both depend on our luck.
Yeah very likely trade could be a gamble when you do not have any knowledge and skills in trading. but it is very likely you could be profit
because of luck. I just followed the tips in the froup to buy bitcoin at a price of $600 and I was lucky to sell it at the price of $ 650

As a small trader forex trading is not different than gambling. One of my friends has just lost in forex trading more than 1k $. We can say altcoins trading works different way where you loose only in case of selling your coins. Stock exchange work same way as forex as small investor you are always exposed to loose just like gambling.

I prefer to invest with altcoins that forex trading. In altcoins you can participate in the ICO and your can buy the coins at a lower price, you just keep that for at least a month and when the major development occurs your investment will grow substantially.

Well lisk is one of the worse coin to try to profit from it, yobit started an ico before the coin be able to be traded, people made easy and several money on that, but well some just loose as well into those market. Im not against to people take advantage, the same thing happened with waves i believe, coin traded high then ico and then dumped, it  may recover as lisk has potencial to grow. Soo yes trading for me is similiar gambling, but with lower risk.

Just because something is a risk doesn't mean its gambling. Bit sometimes you take an educated and informed gamble. But its not true gambling we just say take a gamble as a saying.

gambling is all about luck and in gambling there is a lose for one of the party which is not favorable for a welfare society while in trading you do not make lose any person, but there is trade mutual benefit is involve, in there both the seller and the buyer support each other, so they both are different things.
