Well, if you only make good trades and invest in the right ones. You can do quite well, I have and continue to try to make more.

I think it based on people knowledge how deeply they know, what is the potential of that pick so that it can be better than gambling in long term, in that kind of case trading can't be consider as gambling when it has very good safety for some experienced people.

Yes, Gambling is purely luck and you have no control on it. While Trading requires good experience and good traders never lose. We cant say same about gambling as experience does not count much in gambling.

you can say that for gambling as general but that is not true at all for trading because you can never give a general rule that applies to everybody in trading.
there are a lot of users here that are treating trading similar to gambling meaning they buy a coin and gamble if it goes up or down and they have no idea why they bought that coin.
It is only pure gambling when you are not studying the coins you bought, my suggestion is even if we are investing in altcoins and some generalized altcoins as shitcoins but if you look at closely you can find a good coins there, to name a few we have LIR, Waves, Lisk, and The DAO.

if you have more knowledge on doing it much better opportunity to earn more but doesn't change the fact that you are still risking your money the only advantage is you can control the amount of your loss even if its in the middle of trade unlike gambling that you can possibly lose all in one hit.

Yes that is true but sure gambling have more chance to win more and faster because it depends on your luck meanwhile trading have very slow profit but it is sure profit. It still depends on your luck though when you gambling because sometimes you can win it and sometimes you can lose too. It is a risky thing but sure give a good payout

the difference is in consistency of making profit.
in gambling you can't win in long term and your profit will be zero or even negative. but in trading even if the profit is slow and takes time to get there but it is consistent profit and you can really see the results in long term.
Trading is also like gambling but trading is way more profitable, if we are a gambler by heart we should focus more on trading as the moment we focus our time on doing it we will make more money than in gambling.

trading and gambling has nothing in common.
and the fact that one person treats trading the same as gambling doesn't mean they are the same.

you can in fact make consistent profit from trading, you can actually predict the future to some extent. it is not that hard either, there are a lot of articles about analysis that you should take a look at.

but in gambling you can never predict the future, it is all about dumb luck and you can lose all you have in a blinking of an eye while in trading you will only lose a small percentage in worst case scenario.

Weak hands have been complaining about missing out ever since bitcoin was $1 and never buy the dip.

The time, effort, patience of learning of trading will take you to success rather than doing the usual gambling which will give you a losing mode for a long term especially playing in the house edge games. Trading is worth the risk unlike the usual gambling type so better put some time learning how trades work.

And in trading, you can rely on your skills+luck unlike in gambling where you only need luck.

That’s true, so for me, it is better to put money on trading than to gamble. Yes, gambling has an excitement feeling we felt every time we bet, but the thing is, you can never get rich here if your goal is really to gain profit. Unlike trading, you can gain profit here in a long run, just make sure you have enough knowledge before you enter this kind of activity.

But if you want to be successful in gambling you need to learn the basics like doing a proper bankroll management, the amount of bankroll required and how to control your emotions in gambling because when you cannot control your emotion you will never be successful in the long run.

Yes, there is no successful person in gambling when they do this without of control. We all know that, and we all know, our emotion is one of our number enemy when in gambling.

I have a simple analysis with trading and gambling and this is the real situation base on my observation.

The longer you trade you are getting used to the system and will improve your skills while in gambling the longer you gamble your chances of winning decreases. I think it's way different as in trading we have a great chances of winning than in gambling.

Exactly because as long as you do trades, you are building experience here and that experience will make you improved as time passes by. You can now make your own analyzation and tactics on how you will ride every price movements.

Trading is worth to gamble.

I think trading is gambling in some sort but  this two are far different from each other.  Gambling is nothing more than pure luck.  A gambler puts up money in the hopes of a payoff if a random event occurs. while trading is act of buying and selling stuff.  Investor have to trade because they need to  buy and sell their investment.  Trading is affected by persons skill and keen observation over the market and will give them edge to win a profit.

Trading is also based on pure luck. There are certain events that you can't control like weather, terrorisim, voting results. All those affect the markets.

I don't use luck in trading because I trust more on my skills, as of today I am up trading different kind of coins in the especially altcoins. Actually we don't need to focus on one coins only as we can see more opportunity in the altcoins even by just participating during the ICO.

Trading and gambling have a few similarities and therefore would like to say they are same. In both, the person doing it wants to earn something on top of the initial investment. At the same time, due to some factors, he might end up losing part or all of his investment. Therefore, i don't see a big difference between the two.

The answer is trading is always the best way to do than gambling and though trading is like gambling because you will risk an amount but your chances is way more higher to make profit in trading. In trading your capital might go up to x10 if you are doing the right thing but in gambling in order for you to reach that profit you need to be extremely lucky hitting some kind of parlay.

This is true, because in trading, the longer you invest the more you can earn. But in gambling there is no assurance if you can earn or not, sometimes you can earn but sometimes you cannot. If you have enough luck then I guess you will win in your game.

I do consider trading as gambling since there is nothing to predict 100 % prior to jump in stock market or any type of trading platform. You need to be lucky in both in order to make some money as you don't have any life line in these. Trading or gambling where I saw many experienced players loosing money in matter of minutes. This is a sub branch of gambling so I make no difference between them.

Trading is indeed almost the same with gambling but it gives different results. If trading delivers bigger gains and we can set up more, if gambling is only a fairly small benefit, we cannot set up more, and surely we will get addicted if gambling with greedy

Trading with good analysis, speculation or good experience is partially trading, but trading with pure luck or no experience is pure gambling
Then what is "complete" trading?
But I agree, when you are allowing your luck to play a role in your trading then your trading will change into the mode of gambling. But most of the time, the highly volatile commodity trading are simply equavalent into gambling. Because most of the traders are going only with the 50% of their skill and experience and for the remaining they are depending on their luck.

I think what he meant is that trading takes a lifetime to master. Even the best traders out there makes mistakes everyday but with time they improve on them.
thats true, trading is really risky even for the professionals so if you dont want losing your bitcoins then just dont do any trading i guess as it is like gambling

Trading is better but it has risk and even investment is risky also. For a person to earn money he also needs to risk and not just risking but also need to exert effort to study the investment he wants to venture. Meanwhile, trading can be learn and you can improve your skills but gambling cannot because its shady.

Trading and gambling are both fundamentally stochastic, that is unpredictable, and because of this they are often viewed negatively. We feel an “honest effort” has more predictability to it, and we may hold those who take too much risk in disdain. However, many who have tried their hand at a new business will attest to significant luck when successful. The goal of new wealth creation, and the time needed to develop a successful business, act to mitigate the risks involved. But then, traders and gamblers will often describe many years of practice before becoming successful.

In trading you can have a bit of an edge as trading is related more in the news of the market which if you know how to read them right you may have an edge against the house. Gambling usually is based on pure luck in the majority of its games and very few games involve skill like poker. I would say they are almost the same as with both of them most of the people lose money anyway.

Because most of the traders are going only with the 50% of their skill and experience and for the remaining they are depending on their luck.

thats true, trading is really risky even for the professionals so if you dont want losing your bitcoins then just dont do any trading i guess as it is like gambling
Trading is better but it has risk and even investment is risky also. For a person to earn money he also needs to risk and not just risking but also need to exert effort to study the investment he wants to venture. Meanwhile, trading can be learn and you can improve your skills but gambling cannot because its shady.
Trading and gambling has a common similarity as high risk to lose your capital and both could be won by knowledge, experiences, skill and wisely choose what kind of gambling you want to play. I agree that trading without knowledge, experiences, skill and just depend on lucky guess is a gambling.
