no i do not consider trading as gambling although both are risky but still trading is a little safe than gambling, in gambling you never a chance to return your money back.
As long as you go for longer term trading then it is more safer than gambling but if you want to make a quick bucks from trading like day trading then it is almost equal to gambling. So if you want to earn money from trading then don't ever go for day trading. yes that can be right, as long term investment is less risky as compare to long term investment, in short term investment you can lose money in a very very short time if the price start a downward flow you will really come in pressure and will start panic selling and you will book lost. |

Yes somehow trading is also gambling because in terms of wagering a certain amount of money for an uncertain outcome in expectation of a reward is applicable to both. The difference is that in trading, there is a probable chance of winning than gambling because in trading, you have a basis on your actions or trades like you study the market first and analyze if its time for you to make a trade while in gambling, it will just depend if you are lucky or not and it would depend if you are in the right timing.

Me too I don't consider trading as gambling for they have different ways and they are completely different. Maybe they are just becoming the same for the risk that you are going to take in. But in trading, it has a lesser risk and when you lose some trade you can be confident that you are going to recover the losses that you had made. The thing they have different purpose in reality, because trading is not for fun but it is solely for a trader to make money as his goal but in gambling it is advisable that we just do it for fun and nothing more and less. good point mate, in trading everything is about money while in gambling most of us just play completely to have some fun. |

Trading is a gamble but it is not gambling, that is a very simple definition to that. With trading we can have as many reference as we can to be able to make the right decision to be profitable but in gambling most of our method relies on luck to win, that is the big difference between the two.

Trading and Gambling are both same for me, as both are risky and waste of time, both involves risk of your money, which you can loose at any stage, so its better to stay away from both.
Both are risky but with trading you somewhat know that you get something back for it but with gambling you are just taking a wild guess. But both of them are not the best ways to make some extra money. |

Gambling to me is totally different from trading. In gambling, you are making a choice and the result you have no control. Just like you gambling in table games and randomly buying in stock, the ups and downs you have no control over it. So in this case, trading without any knowledge is just like gambling. However, if you do your research and find out that the stock has an upward trend and the business system has edge competitive, you can say that it is a real deal to trade and your chance of getting more money out of it is hugely increase.
