All orders have shipped out, had a little hiccup last night when my soldering iron broke    

I hit it on the table in frustration and it started working again, crisis averted  

I will be off to the shops this weekend to get a new one.

No more WIFI boards have arrived yet, I had hoped a few might be in the mail so I could get started building the next batch, no such luck.

Also had good news from two customers, they received there devices today!


PS: Blazed I have redone the shipping calcs to the US using Express Post International with two different box sizes the existing methods of sending 2 and 3 devices are included for comparison, the figure at the bottom in each tab in USD is shipping per device.

Good news is I won't run out of LCDs for a while, bad news is I have only got 2 wifi modules (was ordering lots of batches of 2 to avoid shipping). I need the batch of 40 to arrive. I got another soldering iron yesterday so I'm back building the bits I can. Ordered a good Hakko iron that I should get at the end of the week, the cheap one will just be backup.


I got an email from my 3d printing guy the next batch of those parts are in. I also have him printing some stands to prop up the front.

I have a 3D printer at my current job so I could (and would) print this myself if it speeds up my order.

Everyone who has ordered got a email about an issue setting up the devices with iPhones/iPads with an update link that fixes the issue. Message me if you didn't get it, or have problems updating it. All devices from now on will have this fixed by default.

Had 2 WIFI boards turn up today, this is probably not enough to open orders again. Need one of my larger orders to come in.

At least I can get started building them again

just saying.......but on the other hand everyone checking your site is making it plenty active and if you had an old web counter,,it would really be a spinning I would imagine...with everyone on 1x a day hitting 'refresh' seeing 'out of stock' then yelling "damn it" ...and repeating these actions the next day

the old 'build a better mousetrap and the world will beat a path to your door dilemma

anyway ...still in waiting room ..blue haired older lady next to me keeps 'patting my knee' and the elevator type music is still driving me crazy

considering 'raiding' the kids area and the Lincoln log set.....kinda sick of the golf digest magazines......(place needs a new coat of paint too boot)
