No youbit is different from yobit registered in moscow. Yobit has so many withdrawal/deposit complaints that haven't been resolved for months. Stay away from yobit if you want to keep your money

I heard news that "YOUbit" in Koreea got hacked and filed for bankrupcy, that is NOT "YObit", right ?

nah, it's something else. Yobit is Russian exchange.

i`ve to say sorry.
After weeks of complaining yobit.net gave me a new password.

So they are not a bunch of scammers but they are incredible slow. Roll Eyes

I've been using them since 2016 and had no problems, till that they did a withdrawn for me that didnt transfer any token. I opened a ticket and im waiting for 5 months already, and its a simple problem to resolve. I withdrawn all i had there and will not use them anymore.

you just created an account to post this:

Works as expected. No problems. Trades lots of different coins, even brand new ones (at the present the only option for purchasing ATB). Good user interface. Can't say anything about their support - didn't have to use it.

and has this:

Hi
I trade at yobit half a year, and they are not scammers.
I've deposited/withdrew ~100 000 during this time - no problem faced.
But i trade on BTC/RUB market only and used QIWI for payments.

seem to be the same person, however I do not advise to use yobit, if you or anyone loses money on yobi know that there will be no place to complain

You could be right - I created an account just to post this... The only thing is that I created it 3 years before you created your account.  Check the membership info:
Name:    razimih
Date Registered:    April 24, 2013, 02:53:39 PM
Name:    Slow death

So I guess that addresses your point.  And no - I am not the same person.

Now - regrading yobit.net - that was just my personal experience and does not endorses or encourages anything. Yobit could well be a scam for all I care, and it's possible my transactions were the exception. In a similar way that I had pretty negative experiences with exchanges vouched by a number of people (Poloniex - see my recent posts).
However I think that more the people express what their opinion is - the more info we can get out of these forums.
Accusing members of creating fake accounts, fake identities and the likes - doesn't bring much value. I am not saying that it doesn't happen, but in this case you have the proof.

Maybe I am the latest victim of YOBIT

I have traded last Dec 30, 2017
BTC/USD pair.  Yielded around 226USD.
And I saw it in my balance.
Then leave the site.

When I come back yesterday Jan 2, 2018 to check my balance, its all gone!!!
I have checked all the history but no where to find where did my 226USD go...
What a Happy new year to me then..

I have make a ticket but no response.  Also, tweeted them but still no response.
Still hoping that my 226USD be able to give back to my balance...

Yobit is not a responsible exchange. I don't know whether it is scam or not but they do not do their job I think. Here is my problem;

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2674847.0

as I said above I made a eth deposit (https://etherscan.io/tx/0xaa5d3781cae641e8a1793cb037b156d597d3a4a698597be2984c1f0604127087). It may not be a big amount for most people but it is important for me. I was about to buy linda with it when it was 3 sat and it is 18 sat now. My 100usd was about to be 600 usd however yobit did not deposit my eth and I have been waiting for 4 days. Still zero! balance. No one answers support tickets.

I am not close with Yobit exchange anymore. Try some popular exchange to get better service, but don't keep anything more than you can afford to lose. Get a cold storage wallet like Ledger or Trezor for heavy accounts. Exchange always risky to deal.

In this case you cant do thing but to wait up for yobit to push that pending transaction. If you tend to send tickets for support then don't bother because they wont really answer you immediately and that's how Yobit exchange give their service. More on delays and lack of support responsiveness. I don't know why people do make use of this exchange. If they would try yo see up current issues or situation then for sure they would really hesitate.

sounds like it needs to be transferred in a way that needs admin intervention (offline wallet?)

Withdrawls don't always happen right away.

I remember my first LTC wd from them taking almost a day to get posted and confirmed....  "In process" means its in the process of happening; which is not always automated and speedy.

To comment one last time;  do a traceroute on the yobit servers; they are not in RU.

To control is one thing.  To be in a specific place is another thing entirely.

It is a fine line.

Just be patient.  You either will have the TX happen, or get a response.  You are working on their time as well as your time....  Can't change that.

Hello guys,

I want to withdraw some coins from Yobit, however, it says: Wallet status: Maintenance. Do you know how fast they will fix this issue?

Thanks

Same for me. No answer via support ticket or PM, and banned on chat just for asking the question..
They are locking the wallet on purpose!

They are locking the wallet on purpose!

many times there are broken wallet updates.

other times the coin keeps forking onto different chains, and there ends up being many different chains.   Its kind of a mess... especially handling that many coins and that much data.

before buying on any market, you should check the wallet status first.   If offline;  treat the tokens/coins as for use on that exchange only.
