We are talking about Ripple here. Their total supply is more than 38 billion now. When Ripple is $ 1, the market cap will surpass $ 38 billion. Does it make sense for Ripple to pass Ethereum?
Look at the marketcap of companies like Visa etc... and you deeply know, that this makes sense like nothing else. Once Ripple impacts the global finance-industry, 38B are nuts. Even 100B are not that high to stop thinking about it. Considering people believed was not even possible to reach this kind of prices we see today few years ago, i think i wouldnt be too surprised.

One recommendation every time you see Bramen writing again his trolling things on "38B + 1B" report to moderators this as a spam. Lets kick this lulzy shill out of here Long time no see crippler. I cashed out on my 1000 monero's bought at $32 Already been to the moon here or is that still happening tomorrow? That is just x2 times in BTC, jeez, such a leftover, for such a long time keeping. Well you missed the train, as usual. I sold at 121 EURO. Do the match Glad I dumped my ripples fort that If you bought it for EUR than good one, you good boy. I bought BLOCK when they there 0.0011, so what?

When will the new xrp increase to $ 1?
big question mate and I think we will wait for much more time as we seen that in every attempt to pumped up big bag holders sell their coins so its been an up and down scenario and bitcoin is bullish so 1$ per xrp will depend on how the btc will stop and be steady for a while. really, indeed if the ripple at 1 dollar would be the price would be nice, hopefully a few more months the price can reach 1 dollar Come on dude! You do not really think it will happen in 1-2 months, do you? We are talking about Ripple here. Their total supply is more than 38 billion now. When Ripple is $ 1, the market cap will surpass $ 38 billion. Does it make sense for Ripple to pass Ethereum? Ripple did that once, why not? Even though when it happens, BTC will be 100B market cap, and Ethereum might go to 50B depending on all these forking things, but yes, why not? 2018 1T market cap? Or new calculus for market cap?

I think that we should not assess the value of xrp and other altcoins in the $, because all altcoins are somehow tied to the value of BTC. The question is, will rise the price of xrp in BTC when xrp will be worth $1.

Possibly Swell could be uniting Swift with Ripple.
I wonder if they could possibly be presenting a transaction between the two conferences of Sibos and Swell to show how money will be sent in the future.
I'm very interested to see how this turns out. I'm leaning towards this theory right now

When will the new xrp increase to $ 1?
Soon ™ soon? i hope so, actually i am glad to have traded half of my xrp holding to buy xrl tokens at the price of 0,26usd. but i am holding half of that amount so i hope you are right, besides xrp is very good for intraday trading, quite stable and predictable on short term

Technically Bitcoin is a fork and Bitcoin Cash is the original blockchain. When the hard fork occurred, people had access to the same amount of coins on Bitcoin and Bitcoin Cash.- NIST

As the situation doesn't look good at 3500 satoshi. Now it's getting higher and higher and I think Ripple will reach 8-10K satoshi in less than a month.

It'll probably get there (to $1) after XRP actually gets implemented somewhere of consequence. Until then it will probably just just keep riding the waves.

Yes, it does have a massive supply (relatively). And yes, all the tokens are pre-mined. BUT What no one takes into account is that every transaction on the Ripple network requires a small transaction fee in XRP (much like Gas for Ethereum). But since there are no XRP miners, these fees don't go to miners. Instead, they are burned. Every single time theres a transaction on the Ripple Network, there is less XRP in circulation. I'm doubting many people here lack a firm understanding of economics to I'll explain further. When the quantity of a commodity decreases, the price increases. The demand stays the same (or even increases), while the supply is steadily decreasing. This is what's called "deflation" (opposite of inflation, where a currency is worth less and less).

Things like this are another reason that I am bullish on XRP in the long-term. Sure it's not decentralized, but the good side of that is that there are literally full-time employees with skin in the game doing everything they can to make Ripple a success. I'm sure they have a lot of things in store for the coming years :-D

A deflationary currency only one of its kind. The american dollar has an endless supply
