WoW that was a huge problem that ripple solved indeed. /s (except it doesn't at all)

Why would anyone give a fuck about banks when you can send your bitcoins without needing any 3rd parties... This shit is just a trojan horse, a malware to keep you in the banking system. Not to mention its completely centralized.

Btw, can you show me a single example of Ripple's use case? Like which banks accept ripple transactions? Show me one.

~Basically full of shit.~

A Bankercoin fan accuses bitcoin for being a banker coin. You would make Orwell proud.

For me the  amount of XRP not in circulation is a massive no.

For me cryptos is all about trust. I don't trust XRP.

😂  the CME group offers btc futures trading - they're the world's leading and most diverse derivatives marketplace, and are the epitome of the system you hate... you're blind and obviously unwillingly to accept this.

You can't even put "banks" and "decentralization" in the same sentence. You should be a moron to do that.

Unless you have a lot of money you probably want to sell much of your stack every time Ripple pumps.  The FOMO is that you should always be saving a lot of it because this time it is going up for good.  But like Verge every time it goes back down again, and you can buy again to ride 30 to 50% to go up again in the future.   But it could be that the next time it goes up it goes up farther and stays higher than the other times.

Is a Ripple IPO Coming in 2018?

Why wouldn't Ripple do an IPO?
Apart from the potential desire of existing investors to retain their full stake in Ripple Labs, there's at least one ongoing issue that could delay an IPO. The company is currently embroiled in litigation with a consortium of banks known as R3. According to court filings, R3 and Ripple Labs made a deal that involved granting R3 an option to purchase 5 billion ripple (XRP-USD) at a price of less than $0.01 per XRP. Given the appreciation in the value of the cryptocurrency, that option could be worth well in excess of $10 billion...

There's too much shadiness with founder's stake/premine, lawsuits. On top of that, Ripple's ability to censor any payments as well rollback payments is just a big no for me. I already have a banker alt coin. Its called USD issued by the Fed.

Ripple controls "most" of the gateways. Anything that goes through their gateways can and will be censored. They can use KYC/AML or any excuse. Its no different than a Shitibank checking account. Don't be a Fanboy!

yes I think too, it's too late to buy riple now because the price has gone up, this is hot news for those who hold back ripple since first because they will get many benefits

So, are you saying that XRP is like BTC, just doing it like 10 times less frequently than BTC?

do you like ethereum? because the devs premined an additional 17% of the 72m supply at launch. USD is not an altcoin, it's the global reserve currency...

Same thing will happen to all exchanges actually, Bittrex already required us to submit documents and soon these exchanges will control us and soon they will be controlled by governments too. There is no escape here, If you have submitted papers already, might as well join the XRP party.

Well you just did. Congrats to that.  Lips sealed It ain't that hard is it?

Since ripple controls all the gateways, we might as well join on investing some amount with ripple. If we will be using ripple against bitcoin, ripple will have a value of a thousand dollars each. Can you imagine if 5% of the whole world do use ripple, how huge is the demand then.

no one stopping anyone from investing in ripple so just do,anyway its a matter of trust and belief that making others to trust this coin, and personally im a ripple fan and im still buying when the price is right on my target.but im giving ripple this year to make a perfect pump and stay on a good value than what he having now.because if not i might choose another coins to replace in my portfolio at the end year. Interesting to see on low volume Ripple did not crash...  so..

either we will see a slow bleed down on minimal volume or we will spike up or down on large volume..  bit like spinning the roulette wheel in the short term

What about the dev of xlm that can dump billions on the market? Or IBM wich have bought the remaining xlm at a discount for 0.005$?
How is it more decentralized when they hold 70% of coins and gave away free money last year ? Also jed can create more xlm if needed Smiley
