Bought ripple at $1 yesterday. already 50% up on my investment. Ignore the haters... money to be made in ripple and that's all most people care about.

Waiting for the next dip and bounce.

Nuff said.

I think that we will observe lateral movement until spring-summer. Why is that? This coin is connected with banks, which means that it does not need sharp ups and downs, a stable price is needed.

I sold at 0.84 euro. Thought it was the peak and I was gonna buy back once it went back to 0.79 to gain some more zerps. Sadly as soon as I did that. Bitcoin and ripple started rising. Think it will dip atleast to 0.85 again? yeah, im stupid.

Exiting for profit is never easy, this isn't like forex market where it can be determined due to the indicators. I even thought of selling at $3 weeks ago but hold on to it til it got $4. I didn't dump though but hold on to my xrps even today. I think this will still be going up to more than $4 this year. I'm waiting for opportunities still. Selling for money isn't profitable for me, I'd have to buy something worth like I can better earn. A property perhaps will be good.

I envy you. Wish I wasn't so stupid. I could have had much money now. I bought ripple when it was 0.4. I bought 7400* coins. And I had 1 bitcoin, 1 ethereum and 1580 stellar. Guess what? I threw everything into ripple today. I should be ok right? No, the only thing I have left now is 5000 ripple. I have tried to do trading: sell when price is high and buy when low. Not only today, but in the past too. I promise you. EVERY "EFFING" TIME I sold my ripples, the price gains 0.2 euros in like 30-60 seconds. Coincidence? If I waited for it to drop, it just gained even more. When I eventually bought myself back in with less ripple? Yes, the price dropped of course. Coincidence? It has as I already mentioned, happened every time for me. Probably 10-15 times, I lost count.

It feels so rigged to me. But it is probably just me thinking that. I suck and doesn't deserve any money. Why am I so dumb? NEVER EVER SELL YOUR COINS. Just HODL for atleast a year. I know that everyone says HODL, but it is the best strategy. I am gonna go cry in a corner.

unless you have a very big bag of coins and use 10/15% for playing intraday you are going to lose a lot
only strategy with small amount is holding and cash out a little every time you pass a milestone (e.g. you set a price at which you are going to sell a fraction of your initial investment to stay profitable even if the change is not going in the right direction).

Yea. Atleast I learned even if it took a lot of mistakes. I really do not know how to make money fast in crypto. A friend of mine made  about 100.000 dollars in 4-5 months on cryptos and I envy him. He went all in on ripple when it was really low. Wished I had done that too. Now I probably need to find another coin that can atleast triple my money. I have only read about btc, eth, stellar and ripple and I trust the technology etc. Ripple is my absolute favorite. But I do not see Ripple go past 3 euros anytime soon. If it does I would be really happy though and can pay off almost all of my loans and stuff.

How can something which pretends to be money, have 50% of the funds with the creators?
And they can freeze funds?

XRP smells fishy.
I like financial freedom, which isn't controlled by politics.

Do you like global politics controlled by lobbyists?
Or do you just buy XRP because you think you can make money from it?

After a while, when XRP drops in value for a long time... You will ask yourself this question again.
And then you might have changed your answer, or changed your behaviour.

Nice. Congratulations on your nice sweet profits from Ripple. That's just it. Instead of crying over the dip, We should concentrate more on buying more dips and making profits out of it. I still believe the downtrend isn't over. More dip should come soon

Your text would be appropriate if it were about almost any altcoin but Ripple. XRP has great support among top financial players such as American Express, Royal Bank of Canada, Swiss UBS and many others. There is no indication of that support to cease in the future. On the contrary, it is most likely that it will only be growing.
Look at the price of XRP right now. It has gained 50% in one day, which is much more than that of most of the other cryptos. I don't think Ripple might drop in value for a long time. When some people sell it there are usually more people who want to buy it.

XRP token kicked off trading today at $1.6 – an almost 45 percent surge on its Wednesday low of $0.89...according to CoinMarketCap.

XRP fell below $1 for the first time since December this week after the threat of South Korean regulators banning cryptocurrency trade sent Ripple, bitcoin and Ethereum crashing on the markets.

When something crashes hard, that often means big players are interested enough
to crash it so they could buy more cheaply and profit even more...think about it next time
when you buy something for $3 and panic sell at $1 Smiley

What are you talking about? This is your chance to abandon this coin! Look what happened to BCC! XRP will follow the same path, why are you giving up decentralization? Why do they love to be ruled? This behavior is unbelievable!

It's a good logic, especially if you can't find anything significant in terms of news as to why it is crashing, or in this case why it is crashing harder than others. Often the coins that crash first and the hardest are the ones that bounce back first and the strongest and that's what we've seen here.

Don't waste your energy, they don't even know what is what, what is centralization and what is decentralization. They are here just to earn money. They don't care about the community's decentralized future target. If they knew, they wouldn't even trade ripple.

95% of RIPPLE's volume is coming from Korean exchanges without trading fees, huge market manipulation going on again and again.

so much stupid in this thread its embarrassing.

I could  not be fucked giving advice anymore, I will sit back and let people learn for themselves. Jan/Feb is my buying time of the year and has been for the past four years. Im so sick of people who copy/paste info from other noobs and post here as fact.

buy/hodl/profit take/buy hodl profit take.........jan/feb>oct/nov

I'm New ...

I already figured out Jan is a bad month ( or good month depending on how you want to look at it ). Is your above post saying Oct/Nov are similar to Jan / Feb.

Also is there an official RXP / Ripple rep on this forum ? I didn't read through the post in this topic.

Thanks for any reply.

hi there,welcome.

I was saying that typically the best time to buy is in jan/feb and selling some profits is nov/dec.

There was an official XRP team member here a few months ago, but hasnt been around for awhile. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=27870
