𝐑𝐢𝐩𝐩𝐥𝐞 𝐍𝐞𝐰𝐬:  A video of CoryTV onstage at Unbound Miami recently hit the airwaves.  Ripple hires Amir Sarhangi away from Google, and Evan Schwartz releases a exceptional new blog titled "Layer 3" that goes far beyond 'Layer 2' off-chain protocols. 

𝐂𝐨𝐢𝐥:  Adrian Hope-Bailie from Coil clarifies that Multi-hop is not specific to Ripple & that it's an inherent function of ILP.

𝐗𝐑𝐏 𝐍𝐞𝐰𝐬:   /u/RareData releases the XRP Toolkit.  (If you love the MyEtherWallet application, you'll probably love the XRP Toolkit) 

Wietse's team (@WietseWind, @baltazar223 and @ThisIsTriss) release a new version of the XRP Tip Bot, with new features. 

XRP Balance is a new site that provides an XRP price prediction algorithm.  XDEX might eventually be one of the largest exchanges in Brazil, and the Swiss Investment Fund announces that they'll handle custody of XRP for banks. 

Finally, guidance was issued on XRPL sharding, and how a new version of the XRP API will allow developers to request specific history shards.

Ripple and MaterCard cooperation looks good, but I dont understand why MasterCard need Ripple? Credit card transactions are almost instant right? While international bank transfers (SEPA, SWIFT) are so slow. So?

When you make a payment from US to Germany using Mastercard, I don't think you're paying any fees. However Mastercard will have to send the money from the US headquarters to Germany at some point.
In some cases there'll be a balance, for example the users who buy US products from Germany might be about as many as the US citizens who buy products from Germany, so Mastercard won't have to transfer money often.

However I'm sure they have to do money transfer very often and XRP will help them. Imagine how much of the fees they'd save if they transact transfers between their own branches using XRP!

Centralisation is not all bad. To some extent it makes sense, and in the ripple case it's not a bad thing. I know it breaks one of the Satoshi's assumption (or result, however you put it) - the decentralisation. But so what. If it makes sense to use just some blockchain features and not 100% all of them... why not?

I believe they're predicting based on technical factors, therefore their predictions are "lagging". The trend of the market is pointing down at the moment, so they "predict" a continuation of the downtrend, ignoring the fundamental factors.

If XRP goes to 3$, corrects with a fall to 2$, then goes to 5$ and corrects with a fall to 4$, they'll accept XRP is in an uptrend and they'll change their "predictions" to reflect that... when the price will have already gone 10 times up!

Yesterday ripple is up, i been closely monitoring this project, and i think it is now the time to invest in this project, it sounds good to enter this time. But i hope it would go for 3 usd in the next coming year, so that it would be the best time for me to sell .

Yesterday I heard XRP was accepted as a payment method in advacash. It is breakthrough!
ripple should show positive dynamics after this news.
