This dump on XRP is partly because of the immediate selling made by the companies where Ripple is giving XRP. Moneygram was one of them.

MoneyGram CEO Alex Holmes reveals that his company instantly sells all XRP its receives due to regulatory issues.

When asked whether he holds any XRP, Holmes said he personally didn't own any. The same pertains to Money Gram -- the company sells its tokens as soon as it receives it.

"Any XRP that we receive we tend to sell about as real-time as possible"
Holmes explains that MoneyGram cannot hold any crypto due to regulatory roadblocks.

And it hit a new low again today and I am glad I didn't buy it yesterday at the $0.19 area thinking its the bottom. The best play for something like XRP is just to catch it on the pumps and either chase it or buy the pullbacks. Because who knows how low it will go, people right now are probably wanting to buy in the $0.15 area, and then what if it goes to $0.12 area? Most likely people will say $0.10 is the bottom and it will either be the bottom or might go even further down to single digits.

I rather not hold this alt long term, sure it might go to $0.50 one day in the future but I rather just buy it at $0.05 then have to hold it for 2 years just to get break-even. I think from now on, I will most likely look for shorts on XRP until there is some trend change.

remember that XRP were one of the altcoins which was so profitable last 2017, so holding is not a bad idea, it just need a right timing to accumulate.
It reached 4 usd last bull run, at the current price, this is more than cheap and good for people who like to hold for long term, as this coin is legit, holding should not be a bad idea.

Actually, it's not really funny. After everything we've seen in the past 2 years with the Bitcoin clones and the incredible lies they build and actually believe? It's expected. Yes XRP price is very low and it is almost as if the 2017 rally never happened... but this is true of other big alts as well, look at ETH for example, down below 10% of it's ATH at the moment. And many low cap alts are faring even worse.

I'm sure there is some big selling, as with Moneygram, but it's not like XRP is falling whilst everything else is rising.

Well that's something for the long term holder since time. A lot had bought XRP sure when its less than a cent. I myself had been holding it since 2015. The project however is nothing sort of a scam already when they can keep distributing to companies (moneygram) that will just dump out of regulatory issues. If they so believe the project they could have done something to resolve instead of trying the exit path.
