I am using multibit at a moment as I think its very safe and secure and whenever I need to transfer it to my bank account I transfer a part of it to LBC.
What does LBC stand for? LBC= LocalBitCoin exchange. Site: https://localbitcoins.com It is a peer to peer exchange, not a wallet service. But I guess, you are able to load your bitcoins in your account wallet of LBC if my understanding is right. Please correct me if I am wrong. Ok... I understand what you said and I would like to know if the site worth trusted?

Seems like coinbase is popular. I guess I'll use that.
But don't rely on online wallets only. Coinbase wallets are of decentralized nature as the user is not provided the private key of the addresses. Also, there have been many instances of peoples wallets being closed without any reason. (including mine). But its useful for transactions without fees. I guess you meant centralised, I am curious as to how the closing of your wallet took place, do they email you and say take your funds out or just block access? They take me to a webpage where they allow the user to transfer all of the bitcoins stored there to another address. There is a thread regarding closing of wallets : https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1420011.0Oh. Then I couldn't mind. As long as they don't take my coins, I'm fine. What exactly did you do to get it shut down?

I wish it was not mentioned in this thread but somehow a exchange with hot wallet got mentioned in it. It is more for people who buy coins and don't want them linked to them. But I would use different hot wallets personally if you need one. There are a lot of better options mentioned in this thread already.

Agree, I wouldn't really consider it a wallet at all, not questioning the service itself but I doubt you will find it as a wallet option on https://bitcoin.org/en/choose-your-wallet or https://www.bitcoin.com/choose-your-wallet

Blockchain.info is a good wallet if you are a newbie. It is very easy to use and it gives you a little more control on your money than other online wallets like CoinBase or Xapo.

For most, blockchain.info is the most convenient as you dont have to download a wallet and you have access to your private keys unlike other online wallets. If you dont have your private keys, you dont have any bitcoins

Can you immediately and instantaneously sell your BTC with that wallet though?

Im using coinbase, is that good enough for an average user? I’m beginning to think the title of this thread should be “Which Exchange is the most reliable and convenient?” If you are looking to trade small amounts on a regular basis then I can see why you are focused on your choice being an exchange, in that case you have to decide on your own risk level otherwise if you just want to buy/spend/save why take that risk of using an exchange as a wallet? Having said that as Coinbase started out as a wallet but is now focused on developing as an exchange it’s probably the best combination of the two but I would at least be tempted to sign up and explore other wallet options to see the extras they offer, privacy, control of private keys etc. For many bitcoin users decentralisation, privacy and control is the heart of bitcoin.

The best BTC wallet would be Trezor. It is safe hardware wallet, even if your computer is infected with malware/trojan, your wallet with BTC will be safe. I can't believe this. Are you for real? Nothing will affect the bitcoin in Trezor wallect even the computer was infected with virus? Does that mean Trezor is far better Bitcoin core?

I think that the best bitcoin wallet is KeepKey and Trezor, i checked their both prices and both have the same price in the usa. What i like to them is the portability to use wherever you are and not caring about the operating system you use to do the transactions.

To see the what are the perfect for this wallet None of the wallets that i mentioned can be downloaded because they are hardware wallets, so you should first have them and maybe update/download any firmware but this is another thing, they are not on play store, but both of them have an extension in the chrome store but it works only when you connect the hardware with your pc.
