you need to append 1W in the beginning of your waves addy. that will allow you to send the waves to bittrex.
i just send mine too by following the instructions from the previous pages.

I checked the code and the node don't need the 1W and client can works fine without 1W.
I want to know a technical explanation just for education.

So can someone (who is preferably not a 2 bit scammer) please confirm theses steps for transferring from ICO page to bittrex:

1. Generate bittrex deposit address
2. Enter bittrex address with 1w in the beginning in the space that says "wave Address" and click save in the ico account page and make sure there are no additional spaces.
3. wait for the waves to reach bittrex and for bittrex to open trading

Is that right?

what's that space next to "newsletter" with a save button beneath, is it for inserting our email to get a newsletter?

It also says please save seed on the ICO page, where do I find it to save it please.

Please excuse the noob questions.

After step 2 you need to also confirm your withdraw address in your email.

Your seed is what you need if you used the waves wallet. If you transfere to exchange directly, you do not need the seed.

No, after confirming the withdraw in the email, there is nothing you need to do. Just wait. Your Waves should be sent out later today.

Its don manually by the waves team to ensure that no errors happen and funds stay safe.

The scorex address has check-sum already. And the node operates addresses without 1W.
And purpose of 1W is puzzle for me.

they described the problem a long time ago they still have not fixed
very negligent to programming, I would advise SASHA to change programmers
or dismiss

So it looks like like just over 4 million waves is getting dumped at launch then?  That's not too bad considering i suppose.  I'm not bothering even moving mine out of my wallet,  id rather wait And see what happens down the line. Big things could come from waves.
