Instructions for deposting WAVES

1.  There is some confusion for how to deposit to Bittrex due to the Lite client that will be addressed in a future client update.
2.  Please test with a small deposit of 1.01 WAVES first.
3.  When depositing TO Bittrex from the lite client, you must prepend 1W to the destination address.
4.  When sending FROM Bittrex to another lite client, you need to remove the 1W part of the address.

Ok jeesh.. finally saw that when I read through all the tweets. it's 1W on the https://ico.wavesplatform.com/account as well...
Now hopefully they will do a manual transfer before it starts trading.

Why can't we just use the normal process?

A few years ago, to send 1 Bitcoin it seemed very strange and not convenient

I tried to transfer a few WAVES this morning to Bittrex but a little popup comes up saying this area is under development, they have shut down the send and withdraw features. Does anyone know for how long this will be down for from the lite client? Yesterday I sent a test run and it worked fine, but now I cannot transfer any WAVES.

Yes you need to add 1W infront it takes around 20-30 minutes to get 20 confirmations.

I think Bittrex knows you have a huge amount of WAVES in your lite client so they are taking time to prepare a very huge stash for it.   (j/k)

Just refresh your page and try it again, maybe it's your internet connection.

Hi all.

Anyone know how to backup seed phrase from ico.wavesplatform.com/account when I have not generated/registered this before? I cant find any option to generate a seed phrase either. It states when I'm logged in "Please back up your seed!!!" and it has started stressing me a bit since I still not have a wallet.

And also, when wallet is set up, how to import account when there is no seed phrase? There are no option to make traditional withdrawal from the ico account (i.e. into a new chrome lite wallet account)....right?

Am I missing something essential here?
