To put it simply, Miners receive the reward for the fact that they are use their waves, also this is supporting network and provide security. We have chosen the Proof-of-Stake protocol as a consensus algorithm for WAVES. This choice is based on its successful use in NXT, as well as on certain theoretical considerations. At the same time we propose an enhancement to the PoS protocol, which should provide for reduced transaction times and increased transaction throughput – Leased PoS (LPoS). Dont even bother trying to do basic verification on Bittrex.They will tell you they cant verify it and now need photo id with bullshit selfie even after you enter valid and easy to verify information into the questionaire.Its just bullshit to get you to lodge and then make it a hard as possible to trade or withdraw

Dont even bother trying to do basic verification on Bittrex.They will tell you they cant verify it and now need photo id with bullshit selfie even after you enter valid and easy to verify information into the questionaire.Its just bullshit to get you to lodge and then make it a hard as possible to trade or withdraw
My verification took 5 minutes and they processed and approved it in 1-2 hours (needs manual approval). So imho it was fine. It's still faster on Polo and needs less info, but Polo isn't "unlimited" with the first 2 levels of verification. |

I didn't find verification with Bittrex in the least bit onerous - I think a lot depends on your country of residence, understandably. In any case you wouldn't want them to be sloppy and end up like Cryptsy, eh? |

Wait till after the initial -95% dump and buy back at between 3000 and 5000 satoshi in a week or two! Buying at launch price is never a smart idea! |

I really hope Polo add Waves ASAP. They do like to Ninja announce things, so i expect same day trading. |

Yeah it took only a minute to fill out and after it failed to verify I gave them my number etc but now they are telling me I will need advanced verification because the basic wont work due to postcode issue even though you can easily look it up on a phonebook.I am not sending them a copy of my passport etc.What if they are hacked and my details are stolen and some dirtbag starts using my documents for fraud etc?I will wait for polo because they verified me in less than an hour. |

Anyone get an error message while trying to send waves to Bittrex?
the error message is "Error 2 - Not enough balance in account"
I have over 4500 waves in the account. And I put the 1W + Bittrex address.
Any ideas?
Don't forget there is a 0.01 fee. At the moment Fee - 1 Wvl or 0.00000001 Wave until LPos phase. Including the Bittrex depositing. |

I think most of the trading on bittrex will be traders buying up low priced waves dumped by anyone who got bounties etc.Not many buyers will dump it I think.I only wanted to use bittrex to set a few low buy orders and not sell.Maybe a lot of btc from DAO and ETH will go into waves when it lands on poloniex.Dumping at a low price will only be doing those whales a favour and you may not be able to buy them back later either.

I think most of the bounties got dumped on YOBIT. There was some decent selling pressure between 40-50k yesterday, and now there is some 70btc walls around the 60k area. I think we could test the 60k range, but it would be more reasonable to expect a pump and settle into the low 100k area. atleast until polo gets in. |
