I am so confused it's all jargon to me..Yes I got copy of my seed etc but do I have to take off the old client form my extension?
coz I tried to download it and just the old one came up.. also then do I import wallet or what?

Try to reinstall your Chrome Waves App. Just go to chrome://apps/ and delete your WavesApp(Right click-delete)

What do I need to do to withdraw waves from ico.wavesplatform.com? I thought the team was sending them out in batches automatically. I see no method presented on the page enabling me to withdraw myself.

I imported the seed but wrong addy came up and no waves in it..
I tried to import again but even it now generates right address it doesn't log me in it just goes back to import again..I am totally lost now and can't retrieve my 700 waves I am finished..

If you saved the correct address of the waves, in this case, nothing more is necessary. Just wait because it is a semi-automatic process.

Tell us more, what you see. If yesterday you could use your wave (to send on Bittrex) that means with you everything was fine and you have the right seed, try again.

Try using a different computer...

Make sure that you have correctly inserted the seed, even one extra space will generate another wave address.

So...

-Using waves lite wallet in chrome.
-Generated address. recorded seed.
-Entered address address field under my account on waves site and saved.
-Received and completed transfer confirmation emails.
-Its been ≈4 days and they're still not showing up.

What am I doing wrong?

Hi! It is semi-automatic process. When the Waves team will start the next stage of the withdrawal process, you will get your Waves.

There was a lot of not correct addresses, so the Waves team sorted a lot of addresses manually.

Please make sure that you have kept your seed and you checked it (see manual - 03.How can I check that I’m using the correct seed?)

6 days now still no coins in my chrome app wallet.

I checked the address/seed per the instructions. Same address.

I was plenty patient. Now I'm actually pretty pissed. Trump coin did their stupid V2 swap thing better than Waves is doing their "launch". I think this is all deliberate to prevent a Lisk style dumb.

Have you tried asking for help in the slack channel?  That's where I went for assistance and I received the help I needed.

No, I shouldn't have to. I've done everything correctly. I even got the "Your address was changed successfully." note on the ICO gui.

Yeah, that's kind of the point.  If you "believe" that you've 'done everything correctly' then you should have contacted some sort of support after 72hrs when everyone else in this thread have been stating that they received theirs after 48hrs.  

The last 50 pages is full of advice to go to the slack channel, yet you ignored it and now you're bitching on the very thread where the advice was not to voice your problems here but to go to slack.  The fact that you ignored all the advice makes it hard to empathise with your situation.  Take this as a learning point that sometimes you need to be a little proactive in life instead of wiping your hand and absolving yourself of all responsibility/accountability.

I have the correct seed as I backed up the wallet, maybe that's the problem..I got hubby to reinstall chrome on my computer so do you have the link to the LATEST wallet client? I will try again.. I was crying earlier, I broke down lol.

It would be great to have an idea of WHEN the dev Team is going to process the withdrawals from the ICO accounts.
I've set the Bittrex address in my ICO account yesterday but obviously, still nothing happened.
I know it's a semi-automatic process, but knowing it's going to happen lets say: 2 times per day, or 3 times per day, or whatever.. that would helps us a lot.
So we will not keep stressing here, and moreover,  we don't have to check it every hour
