I have a feeling since the WAVES ICO is a day after the release of LISK.  The price increase of LISK will be minimal since people will be holding onto there BTC to invest in WAVES.

Hello! I am just checking in here. I am working on the Waves Client and am helping to prepare the testnet right now. FYI, the current setup will use the implementation from kushti, which is called Scorex ( https://github.com/ScorexProject/scorex ) and on top of that Lagonaki ( https://github.com/ScorexProject/Lagonaki ). Lagonaki uses the so called "permacoin-consensus". The Waves testnet will have a Nxt like consensus mechanism, which is also POS.

The more I read about lisk the more I have doubts about it. Even though they've had a huge ICO I get this strange feeling that the waves team is much more competent to deliver.

I wish waves had dapps. From what I've understood it is not the case although there's some sort of plugin system that is should allow third parties to build upon it right ?

Will waves be used only for coin transactions (in a form or another) ?
