for our vision.

mxxxxxx, can you try in one sentence to describe your vision? I know that's hard but I'd love to know!

Waves team is building first production system on top of Scorex framework where Waves token will be the fuel of whole platform and all transactions happening there, from issuing the assets, through transfer, depositing and withdrawing other supported currencies on the platform. Focus is on custom asset creation, lite client, end-user, no blockchain download, decentralized exchange, asset-asset trading, fiat assets, working with payment providers from the start and being decentralized kickstarter at the same time. Other features and apps/plugins center will be appearing in meantime. Waves will have its own implementation of POS, its own transaction types, its own unique reputation system on the blockchain and many more things. Rewards will be distributed between all network users who have a balance, above full nodes, all lite client end-users will be able to lease their balance to full nodes and receive rewards also. So above Waves token being the fuel of the whole platform there will be also incentives from the network itself. We will develop own crosschain asset protocol for Waves-Ethereum assets and similar blockchains and we will integrate crosschain asset protocol from SuperNET as for Bitcoin blockchains also.

sasha35625 "We support the Mycelium vision of creating a full-scale blockchain-agnostic mobile wallet, and would like to help Mycelium team bring it even further - by providing not only cryptocurrency but also fiat transfers within their wallet service. We believe in a certain convergence of fiat and crypto in the long run, so this should be one of the first steps in this direction. We need to provide some kind of an open-blockchain solution that can be used by existing financial services in order to reduce costs and provide a certain level of decentralization for their users. Blockchain-powered fiat transfers will be used in variety of applications, including cross-border remittance, traditional online merchant payments, crowdfunding etc. The sky is the limit here."

Let me try it in one sentence.

The decentralized ledger technology may and should be used to enable transactions involving not only cryptocurrencies but also any type of security by way of transferrable and tradable electronic tokens representing fiat moneys, stock and fund shares and others in order to unleash the power of the peer-to-peer financial ecosystem.

How's it?

Mycelium and Waves platform announce a strategic partnership
https://www.reddit.com/r/Bitcoin/comments/4i73oa/mycelium_and_waves_platform_announce_a_strategic/

Apparently the waves ICO gained another ~1000 btc as a direct result of this announcement, spiking the punch bowl while the 45-day ICO party is still open. Investors piled in and reduced my stack of waves by 20% in one day. Nice.  Roll Eyes

This is a great idea to converge fiat with crypto because it will bring in the Masses without all the cumbersome mumbo jumbo basement nerd speak, although I don't understand all the technicalities behind this asset class, I am beginning to get the idea and firm believer this to be a mindblowing operation.

We are on schedule with enabling investors to withdraw their tokens to their wallets or at least to exchanges wallets right after ICO ends.

Do WAVES create an official wallet and Mycellium be the side wallet? I think about using Mycellium wallet but if that won't heavy I can use WAVES wallet for better security, too.

Mycelium and Waves are separate wallets, Mycelium wallet will support fiat tokens through Waves.

Waves will be integrated as module/plugin.

1) It's different
2) It's different ,but not  necessarily  better( depends from what you mean by "better")
3)Not a scam because from developers level of activity interacting with investors, active promotion of  the project on other media sources and the fact that some of members or partners of Waves have a  documented evidence of their track record of experience ,  you could think the team is genuine and have all the potential and motivation for Waves to succeed.

Just slightly different  interpretation Smiley

How do you plan to support your network??? nothing for the miners here, so you are banking on bag-holders staking indefinitely, and where is the coin allowance for pos generation?Huh??
so far it looks good, but the numbers below smell like old fish.

15 million tokens are reserved for bounties and the development team in the following proportions:
- 1 million tokens will be distributed to early supporters. Please check additional details below.
- 1 million tokens are reserved for post-ICO bounties.
- 4 million tokens are reserved for strategical partners and backers
- 9 million tokens are withheld by the development team.

The remaining  85 million tokens will be distributed in lCO procedure to participating users based on their contribution in the total amount of the raised funds.
