There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, which will follow the rules of the network no matter what miners do. Even if every miner decided to create 1000 bitcoins per block, full nodes would stick to the rules and reject those blocks.

If someone wants to buy my waves, I have 5503, bought for 2 BTC (including a bit bounty fees). I'll sell it for 10 BTC. You send me the BTC first and I will save your waves address in the "wave address" field in my account, so that you get it when the mainnet is running, or suggest an escrow (e.g. I would accept dooglus or other famous members here that I know, if they want to do it for a small fee). You can contact me by PM, or here in public to be more safe for both sides.

Yeah, I had made a snarky remark to the person telling me to search the thread (with my point being on how he initially missed out on seeing how I already got help/the answer), but switched it after he edited his Searching through large bitcointalk threads does suck. The waves forum will be nice

I've seen quite a few members advising to install fresh google chrome before using Waves platform. So I was thinking would be good if developers address security subject-strangely nobody seems talked about it yet. Being a non tech.person would like to know how big the difference if any running or connecting to a block chain through internet browser plug in. Difference in term of security would be I am concerned most.

Waves lite client works locally through browser. It is not a plugin. You will be downloading it and running on your puter/device. Security During registration, the most important information is the wallet SEED. Save it somewhere safe, write it down on a piece of paper, or store it in different media. With the SEED you can always import your account again or change the password. This SEED will be AES-encrypted with a password of your choice and you can unlock it to access your account at the log-in screen. Every transaction will be signed locally with JavaScript and transmitted to the node without revealing your wallet seed or private keys.
