I still don't get it to work. I downloaded the light client, then clicked on the chrome "index" icon, but the super cheezy site it brought me too; the pictures dont show up, and the create account link doesn't do anything. hey bud, you have to unzip the folder you download first, then launch index again

Woo hoo! A bunch of us Australians are setting up our wallets. (Tee hee, our Tech Officer is doing mine.) Lookin' forward to seeing how things go when Waves hits exchanges.
If you're Australian, feel free to drop us a PM

So looking through the previous posts, the team is manually (semi-automatic) going though all the withdrawal requests from the Waves ICO page to the lite client. How long will it be done this way? If exchanges open trading on the 14th, and our waves are still on the on the Waves ICO page, what if we want to move some tokens directly to an exchange? Will those requests be done manually or by that time will it be automatic?
Just looking for clarification is all. Thanks.

Yeah, I am wondering about the same thing. If I could directly move my waves coins from ICO dashboard to any known exchanges in the future. If not I will wait for full node client.

I think that would not be possible as it should only be wallet to wallet transaction in that way. The ICO site where we are currently storing our waves is just an internal system for the waves and outsiders like trading sites, we cannot link it to them. Let us just wait patiently as my waves is still in my ICO account.

The team are manually moving the waves token to the generated waves address we have on the ICO page right?

What are people downloading and unzipping. I used Google Chrome and went to the app store and downloaded app and launched. I hope I did this right. I didn't have to unzip anything.

You're ok. Theres two options you can download the lite client and open it locally on your computer. Or option two just download the waves lite client google chrome app.
