All anyone needs for just holding waves safely is their seed key and address related to it.The transaction speed is good and everything works as should so far after bouncing waves around about 20 different addresses without any problems using just the seed and import function.Job well done.Once you have your seed key safe and apply it correctly you should have no problems doing anything with this platform.Convenience wise it is the easiest thing I have ever used.

I still haven't received my WAVES, either so waiting patiently. I just hope they don't launch on exchanges with some of us peeps not receiving our WAVES yet but I am sure the Admins here are efficient and fair.

This is not an official WAVES team website, but it is the original client (except for the additional banner on the login page, contact me if you want to advertise) and no plugin installation needed. All data is saved locally on your PC, so it is safe.

I tested it on Linux and Windows Chrome and works perfectly. It doesn't work on iPad: you can login (both with pre-installed Safari and Chrome from App store), but it doesn't show the block count and your WAVE amount, I guess the WAVES devs are still working on it.

Dont use this site, probably phishing site, probably can steal your info and your waves account, please dont use this site.

Don't hold your breath tomorrow.
Tomorrow is the date when the full node code will be released. But that doesn't mean that Waves will be added to any exchanges right away. Exchanges will probably take a bit with their procedures of implementing.

It would be nice though if it would happen sometime this week.

I think it would be wise not to sell under 1 dollar per wave..especially at this time where crypto is BOOMING !!!!!

 1 dollar is only 5x iCO price....... there is no doubt that will be reached in near future

The full node code has not been sent out yet. Exchanges do not have access to the code.

We have estimated that on June 14th the full nodes code + instructions would be openly available for exchanges, if there are no problems we will keep this on schedule, but please realize that (some, at least the most serious) exchanges run their own security audits before actually integrating new markets.

This means that most exchanges will check the code (...) as they should. Therefore it's a bit difficult to predict with accuracy when exactly the exchanges will start adding WAVES.

Is either of the two options to prefer? I was thinking that by using a plugin the end user is notified or gets the plugin updated automatically while using their browser? I would think that the same is not necessarily true for the user who is running a local page on their computer?

Hey 110110101. You can use both wallets. Both clients work equally. Currently, waves wallets do not have notifications, but future updates will have more functions.

Thanks, I was hoping that any updates to the client would automatically be updated with the Chrome plugin, a convenient way to not have to bother about checking for new releases all the time.

On a side note, I think your ranking is so low because of little activity since registration.

time = number of two-week periods in which you've posted since your registration
activity = min(time * 14, posts)

Activity is updated every hour.

There is an 'activity period' every two weeks, starting tuesday. If you manage to make a post during that activity period you 'claim' the activity. But as activity is never higher than posts , to fully claim all of the activity you have to post 13 more times(if you have made a post in the activity period, you can claim the remaining 13 activity any time by posting 13 posts). Once one activity period finishes, another ones starts letting you claim another 14 activity points.

So you need a number of active 14-day periods to boost that ranking. Otherwise you'll have to write a PM to the admins and have them look into what is wrong.

Let's hope the Admins will come here and explain what is going to happen and for those of us who didn't get their WAVES yet apart form being patient, what else do we need to do so we are not left out on official exchange launch day, of course I am not dumping my WAVES because I want more waves but as all my btc is tied up I want to use around 200 of my WAVES to trade up lol.. Everyone is dumping everywhere because of the btc price hike but I am bagholding all my coins as I don't wanna dump anything cheap lol.
