Has waves started trading on exchanges yet? I thought it was launching on the 14th and I can't find any exchange links in the OP. I missed the ICO and was hoping to be one of the first traders when it gets onto its first exchange.

Next few days. Exchanges working on it.

Can we lock the thread until we hit an exchange please?
That is the best idea. The last 200 pages or so are really horrible. Nobody looking for an up-to-date info is able to see through millions of useless posts.

How hard is it to browse to their twitter or facebook page - you don't even have to login or register to get the info.

Does anyone know what this message means:
Error!
Error:2 - not enough balance
Sent funds from one account to another. (all transactions are visible on the blockchain)
How many confirmations are needed until the full balance is available.

Make sure that you are using the updated wallets

You can download the Lite client from this link:
https://github.com/wavesplatform/WavesGUI/releases

*How to update the wallet?
Download the latest version. See the release date.
Make sure that you have a copy of the Seed. Close wallet. Just download the new archive, unzip it, delete old folders and archives. Open index.html file.
If you do not see your account, use your seed for Import account. See instructions below


You can download the Chrome app from this link:
https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/wavesliteapp/kfmcaklajknfekomaflnhkjjkcjabogm

*Google App is updated automatically in your browser. But if you're not sure, Go to chrome://extensions/ turn on developer mode and click - Update extensions.

The index html from the folder is a different address from the google chrome app even though it's the same seed.

Sure, but the original idea of Ann's in this forum is to provide useful information about the coin, not nearly thousands of pages of spam.
Letting it as it is, the quality of this forum decreases and you have to look for the useful information somewhere else.

Indeed - but for extreme high interest launches - I find ANN is not so good. I guess when the dust settles somewhat the devs will update the OP with all up to date info.

Oh Dear! When I created my wallet the message begging me, no compelling me to save my seed securely and back it up or write it down made the Nostromo autodestruct warning on Alien look wimpy.

Why do you care so much about what the thread is like?
There's plenty of other sources for waves announcements and info.

In this case -

Try to import account on another browser (eg Firefox). You can use my manual - How to import account. Maybe you made a mistake when checking your seed.

Do you correctly enter your seed, even one extra space will generate a different address. Try to use several ways. - Copy/Paste or Type it.
