It is.  They need the full node code from the WAVES team.  It is based on open source code (I think) but it is not open-source itself.  That is why they had to do manual transfers.

They were never given the full node thats why and the full node isnt open source yet.

Yobit management said they don't have full nodes and WAVES is closed source. Devs need to help exchanges but I don't know why they let speculators manipulate the market.
