IMO coin forums are mostly useful for development. On the other hand Bitcointalk is also great for PR.
Yeah! and I believe this thread should not be lock again because we can easily get some good and bad opinion here, we can have freedom if we can express what is our speculation of the future of waves. |

Waves has launched on one smaller exchange, Bittrex, prior to releasing full node code. Volume on Bittrex has been about 1% to 2% of the total 30k BTC Waves is holding.
Once full node code is released and Waves is listed on several exchanges, there is a good chance of higher volume and price.
People had their BTC locked into ETH ico for a year (07/14 to 07/15) before they launched ETH full node code.
People were mad about ETH delay because the fiat price of BTC dropped 50% while their BTC was stuck for a year in ETH ico.
Lisk already had full node code at launch from crypti. Crypti also traded below ico price for a few months.

Just want to say, glad to see the thread open again. Closing threads/banning people isn't the solution to views you disagree with/fud/etc.
To the trolls, you need to learn more patience with projects. A coin isn't created for you to profit off of cheaply via an ICO. There is real work being done by real people behind the scenes. Sure, many of them will fail, but the successes will be worth it, not just to you personally, but to the entire ecosystem in general.
Just chill out people ...

I remember reading on this thread that originally there was an implied relationship with Charles Hoskinson - IOHK because of his work with scorex.
and that implication was put to rest, with this response from Mr Hoskinson "IOHK Research and Scorex ARE NOT collaborating with Waves. We do NOT endorse their project nor crowdsale."
So, now that Lisk and Wave are collaborating wouldn't that mean that the above is no longer true? I think the ramifications of that are positive on a number of levels

Damn, I waited until the market cap would go under 10 million. Then I planned to buy more but close before the 10 million mark was broken, the price jumped up that much. Well, I am thinking about to wait again for another correction. Maybe I should level up my buying mark at 12-13 million market cap. up 33% today living up to its name ride the WAVE and profit!  |

It's always risky waiting for the price to keep falling. The current rise in price is more of a correction given that the ICO price was about 36/37K.
