But who can run a gateway? What happen to the Euros, Dollars, BTC? Does the money is stored in the Gateway?

It's good news and I will join this slack now. I can see the big potential Waves in the future.

Feels like there is a race going on to be the first DEX. And it's more than a feeling. It sure would be nice to know how close WAVES is to becoming that.

Of course, they already exist to some extent.

Ive seen the road map, which basically just tells you a little about WAVES, and some other hopes and dreams and whatnot. But I'd like to see a lot more detail, and time framing. The absence of such things pours gas on my flicker of doubt.

I put a nice chunk of money into WAVES, and the plan is to leave it here, but it's hard with so much other stuff to invest in.

And if someone wouldn't mind reminding me why I'm not concerned about the centralized aspect of the WAVES DEX. I'm sure it's serves a purpose, though I forget what that is exactly. Is WAVES even aiming to change the minds of those who say crap like.....WAVES DEX! A centralized DEX! LMAO! Or is WAVES designed with a different type of consumer in mind?

Looking at your post history, only 2 days ago you didn't even know what wallet to use for Waves so you probably invested 2 days ago and already you start to complain?

So did you invest without research or are you just disappointed it didn't go 4x in 2 days?

There's a lot coming for Waves, Github has updates every day, the wallet has updates once or even twice a week, Node has several updates every month, Etherdesign (!) is working with Waves for the front-end, there's a script language coming for Waves and Sasha is hiring coders as we speak.

Anyways, you're half right. I've only been into WAVES a short while, more like a couple weeks than days tho. But I'm forgetful, and maybe have an itchy trigger as well? Whole truth be told I did jump into WAVES faster than I normally would, so ya I'm feeling a little insecure.

I digress on the time table. However, if someone would please answer my question regarding the semi-centralized nature of WAVES that would be great! To reiterate, I asked if WAVES has expectations of changing the minds of those who currently believe in completely decentralized exchanges? Or, maybe who cares about them because you're aiming at a different piece of the market? I'm just curious if WAVES success is hinging on changing peoples minds about what a decentralized exchange should look like. If the answer is no, and this is why...then problem solved. If the answer yes, then I consider whether or not I think that is going to happen.

This is me doing more research, and trying to spark a conversation only. Sorry for not being more obvious about that. Please don't hate me on my second day, I mean week!
