It is really bad for oil industry and for economy whos product is oil because electric cars can kill their gdp and many people and overseas workers will lose their jobs because of this tragic and if people convert to electric cars i think many economic country will fall down, because those country relays on oil and oil gives major income in trades in global stock market and if that really happen its devastation to them, although electric cars is eco friendly less emession less polution.

Electric cars are the future. Every big car manufacturer is investing a lot of money and resources into developing new efficient electric motors and batteries that can run for longer and substitute petrol engines completely. The planet is getting polluted every day by gases and the global warming is a real threat to our well-being so if I am going to buy a new car I would get a hybrid or a fully electric one if I have the chance and finances.

Well, that's true, power plants could be a good alternative for them if no car would use fuel, but still, some government wants a green energy, the carbon that it will produce when burned is higher compared to vehicles...besides new plants now are using hydro, windmills, and solar...

It's good having less oil used for cars - we'll stop consistent pollution. However, there are also other car models that are even better than electricity in terms of pollution, like hydrogen vehicles.

Yes it really existing in market now but only few people are having or adopting it for now but i think oil players thinks bad for having bunch of numbers of electric cars running at street its a lose of income for them and my lead for closure of their business

yeah, now every vehicle company is trying their best to shift from the oil engine to the electricity system, and for that they spending a lot of their capital so as to achieve their goal, and are doing a number of experiments etc.

Well, there were industries that adapted, like postal services that now do not send that many postcards but do quite well because they now send more goods purchased in online shops. And oil is versatile, it's not only used for cars but also for plastics. And electric planes, although they already exist, won't replace kerosene-driven ones for at least 50 years.

People in the oil industry if lose their jobs then they will find a job in the electricity industry as they have to need workers for their newly formed industry and so no one have any problem, and one more thing government will also benefit from the taxes of electric cars.

No, it is a cause for the oil industry as oil industry has already a demand for a number of other users besides cars and other vehicles, so a burden will be lessen on the oil industry, and we know that a truck or any other heavy vehicle is unable to run on electricity so the oil will be saved for that vehicles.
