Are electric cars bad for the oil industry?

Electric cars are not yet tested for its durability and efficiency if how long it will last so oil industry has nothing much to worry at this point but maybe after years of testing and showed some positive results using e-cars this is really a threat to oil industry around the world.

Dude, you are wrong. Electric cars are in operation for more than 20 years, and by now we are very much aware of their capabilities and drawbacks. The only thing which bothers me is the huge expenses involved with owning one. A good electric car costs at least $30,000 and for that price you can get three gasoline driven vehicles.

And new energy vehicles, because the existing institute of technology and produce the high cost of new energy vehicles prices will be very high, so most people choose to cars, is can choose transmission oil cars, in the next five years, the influence of gas industry is not very big!

   Sure, that cam really be a big problem for the oil companies. Since vehicles are one of the main reasons as to why we need these oil companies. Fuel. But honestly, i do not think that this will be a reason that can bring down oil companies since there are a lot of things in this world that meeds fuel and all of the things that they dig up.  So i don't see it happening as a bad thing. In my opinion, why is the electric car difficult to develop? this is because there is a big role of the oil industry, they have invested very big and have not got the RoI or profit they expect so have to intervene.

For me electric cars are not bad at all to the oil industry for now. Yes it do have an impact on them but not totally bad at all because now a days electric cars are not yet rampant in the market. Maybe time will come that there are lot of people are now using electric cars it will effect oil industry. I think there are many usage of oil so I guess its still in demand in the market and people will still use it. On electric cars there are also negative point to be consider we should say that it takes long time to charge your electric cars rather than using oil after a minute you can use back your vehicle no need for you to wait too long.

Well it is really a real threat for oil industry.  Oil industry don't have a real competitor in terms of transportation market supply but now when electric cars will be out on market it would affect the sales of oil in this comming years. Which they could feel the bad impact to the industry.

i think its a fair competition.
since the beginning of oil industry, they have manipulated the market for almost centuries and i think it is high time to have an option aside from oil.
the water fed technology concept on cars was also a thing but oil industry bought the concept and technology that is why it didn't materialized.

Battery manufacturing of electric cars may be more serious than the environmental pollution that oil brings to the world. To look at the business perspective there should be some advancements like if you introduce the electric cars then the prices of the oil industry will come to normal and for those who have the cars they can buy the new cars as well.
