Tried placing an order for 2nd batch of batch #2, 15mins after opening, order 312 of 330 and it says "dont have stock, update cart", did this 3 times then received out of stock message. After initial F&%K up with batch #2 seems Avalon aren't prepared to test or use same payment method for all batch's.

It seems units became available again. Some people submitted duplicate orders you see, and only paid one of them.

For those that paid in full for Batch #2 on Feb 2nd, when you log into your account at http://store.avalon-asics.com do you see anything under "Recent Orders"? I paid for mine in full, walletbit won't confirm that they have any address on file, avalon won't even look up my order and on the avalon site it tells me "You have no recent orders.". Avalon Support ticket: #136 You are not alone, on the same boat. No response from the tickets. However, Adam at Walletbit was helpful and at least i got a response from there Avalon Support Ticket #339 Cheers

+1 on Adam I had an order paid yesterday from batch #2.2 that was listed on the Avalon as Pending, with a button next to it that it still needed to be paid, while I had a confirmation from the walletbit site that it was paid. The reply I got was: "I have spoken with Avalon and had them send you a confirmation email for the third order." and indeed that fixed the problem, got my confirmation email. Now... getting any feedback from Avalon on the other hand about any previous paid and upaid orders proved to be in vein. Good to see that at least they outsourced part of their customer care to walletbit In conclusion: talk to walletbit, don't bother with an Avalon ticket :-)

In case you want to start count your chickens before they hatch: http://organofcorti.blogspot.com/2013/02/910-asic-choices-avalon-update-3.html0. Introduction Errata: In post 9.9 I made a late night error, incorrectly naming a variable. This lead to Difficulties being applied one retarget early, and thus underestimating earnings. This has been fixed for this post. All previous "ASIC choices" posts are not affected.
Bitcointalk.org forum members MrTeal and schmadz requested a slightly different data presentation, which I think will be more flexible than previous presentations. The changes are:
Daily and cumulative earnings are in BTC Daily and cumulative earnings do not account for power costs. Daily and cumulative power costs are shown in two other charts. If you want to estimate costs, then convert to US$ using whatever rate you think will be appropriate (US$25 to US$30 / BTC are probably safe values) and then use charts three and four to caculate costs. (more details in charts sections).
This removes the necessity of using scenarios, and allows much greater flexibility.

Only looks like enough to account for about 85 units, plus 33 or so in the first wave, with maybe 4 in the interim.

So in May, wenn Diff reaches 300TH, you will pay more for power than you will earn (Power costs 0,14 Eurocent, BTC/EUR remains at 20).

I think this .. "Arrivals are constant. Rather than modelling arrival times, I'm assuming a constant rate of hashes per second added to the network for each of the batches." .. will prove critical.

Is there anyone else who hasn't received confirmation from Avalon for their order of the original batch #2 at this point or is it just me?
I only got one from Walletbit.

I received confirmation from Walletbit for payment and address verification.. was good enough for me. Specially since all Avalon will do is log into Walletbit to verify the order themselves which is the same information.
