Hi,

I have Wirex plastic card for quite a long time.
After all those updates I have tried to add funds to my plastic card. I choose option Exchange.
I see the exchange rate 1 Bitcoin = 1196.80 EURO. When I try to enter amount the exchange rate changes from 1198 to 928 Euro per 1 Bitcoin.
it is a drop by 22%. Is it normal???
How much you charge for adding funds to the card now?

Regards

DL
This deceptive tactic is what Wirex/e-coin have been counting on to profit from customers. I wrote about this in detail in a post I made in my list of Bitcoin debit cards a while ago.
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1242788.msg15766469#msg15766469

Agree.  I cant find a reason to keep Wirex card now. They simply lose their customers.

Just updating the situation, I received this emai on april 29th:
"Apr 29, 11:28 UTC

Hello!

Sorry for the late reply and inconvenience.
We'll make the refund on your card.
The problem will be fixed.
Kindly ask you to wait. You'll receive the refund withing 2-3 days.

Best regards
Wirex support team"

Yesterday I received this email:
"May 1, 13:58 UTC

Hello!

The refund has been done on your card. kindly ask you to check."

I checked my account and they deposited the GBP as I would have received if the operation went ok back then. So, wirex did solve it, but it is an inconvenience because it took a few days. Luckly, it wasn't urgent.

Since they are changing their exchange fee policies, I suggest make it clear how much is the fee for a given range of BTC being traded

Very interesting to read all the pages.

I am currently looking for a new card to use in ATM's. What would be the best one for me?

Why are people not talking about BitPlastic? I believe they use a Polish bank or something.

Hello again Weaver. On May 4th, The support team answered your ticket number 95467 and refunded your transactions. They also issue a lengthy explanation about how the transactions with the Wirex card works, so I hope this could clarify any doubts you have. Also, Please remember that if you send more than one ticket about the same issue, the support team will eventually close and merge them so they issue can be handled orderly. This process slows the response time. So please, next time try to avoid it.

Let me know if you need any more help.

Hello again. Strangely, your claim does not sound like something the wirex support team does. Please send me a support ticket number so I can track the issue and investigated the matter further.

Can you please suggest me some fast and reliable Virtual Credit Cards service provider, who accepts Bitcoin or Perfect Money payments? I Was planning to go for Wirex(seeing the OP), but looks like they're having issues.
