Is anything wrong out there BitcoinSports? A friend won this small bet on Monday Night Football and it's still unpaid: http://www.bitcoinsports.eu/bet/a28ecI feel a bit bad because I listed bitcoinsports among "the books that payout" when asked... I see 3+ days for an invest withdraw request: still nothing back from my investment withdrawal from 3 days ago
What is going on? I have always thought your system is unique and fantastic - it will likely be a model for future btc sports betting sites - but of course the main issue is paying out winning bets fast - if you consistently lag by a few days or 1 week it erodes player confidence. EDIT / UPDATE: Bet paid. Would still appreciate a response on the wait times. |

I'm not sure that I buy the recent excuses from Bitcoinsports. None of them seem to explain why an "investment" that I cashed out 6 days ago (bitcoinsports.eu/inv/13855) still has not been sent.
I also have bets that have gone unpaid for almost as long (like bitcoinsports.eu/bet/a8738). When they stop paying investors who are cashing out, that seems to me a much more worrying sign!

The date on the blockchain.info site is wrong... But i understand the problem. Still have no confirmation for this transaction! So you need 1 confirmation before match starts?
So better pay a small fee next time one bets on your site, right?

This was an unusual situation. The BTC did come through before the match, but then there was no record of the transaction on the blockchain and no confirmation until 12+ hours later (still no confirmation yet). This would be an easy way to cheat, though I do not believe you were trying to do so. It was probably an error with your wallet software or delay from an online wallet. As long as the bet enters the blockchain before the match you will be fine in the future. Cheers |
