Hi bit365 I am still missing the payment of 7.02972001 BTC from my cashed out investment http://www.bitcoinsports.eu/inv/aa8e3 at my address https://blockchain.info/address/1N8F6SnRLQaSgkHCD9QkMiDxHrTysMiU8g. I still think you should make a public list of cashed out investment you are processing and pending bets you are handling the payout for. Personally i don't mind waiting a bit as long I can see what is going on. It don't need to be anything fancy. maybe a public visible Google doc spread sheet with 4 tabs. A tab with bet pending bets that has been requested to be paid out in this tread. And when the bets are paid out they are moved to a second tab. The 3. tab could be a list of pending cashed out investment requested handling in this thread. And when they are paid out they could move to the 4. tab. Maybe you don't need the 2 tabs with handled bets and handled investments. To be honest I don't know how much extra work this would be for you guys. But it would give me a lot of comfort as an investor and a player on your site to have that kind of overview in the current state. I still think you have a very good betting site going and I hope you get your problems solved and again, please be open about problems you have, someone might be able and willing to help you if you ask. Update on current state of investments:
We wanted to let everyone know what the status is with investment cash outs and why there has been such a long delay in fixing this issue.
About two weeks ago we noticed investments were having the incorrect amount added when grading losing bets, resulting in the net amounts for all investments being higher than they should have been. We were quickly able to fix this for all future bets that have been graded, but the net amounts would still be incorrect from past bets.
Since then, we have had one person attempting to correct the investment totals, as well as grade all bets and deal with all support requests, which has led to the significant backlog.
Resolution plan:
We will be working through any remaining pending bets and support requests today.
Investment cash outs will also resume later today in the order they were requested. We will be manually going through about ~8000 bets for each investment to make sure the net amount is correct, as a better solution has not been discovered at this time.
We apologize for all the headaches, and thank you for your patience. This has been a learning experience for our team and we can assure you business will resume as usual very soon and payouts will be back to under one hour.

Thank you. As someone who manually grades 50 cards per week for a "fantasy betting" league, this sounds like a horrendous process as I know I spend a solid 8 hours a week on it.
I think we'd all just appreciate continued communication on status whenever possible. Hope you're able to streamline the process and get the help you need to resolve this. If there's anything the community can do to provide any assistance in terms of data analysis or whatever, I'm sure many including myself would be happy to help. There are tools like google docs where one spreadsheet could be shared and multiple people could contribute to checking the calculations and grading. I'm an auditor myself and would be happy to contribute if needed.
I think a lot of us will feel better when we can see that some of the larger amounts are being paid out. For example the gentleman who has 40 BTC outstanding, that's enough where it would personally make me incredibly uncomfortable. Even if you shot him his original investment back and followed up on the profit, I think a show of good faith like that would be appreciated. Don't want to tell you how to run your business, but even if only for the very largest amounts owed that would go a long way to easing concerns.

Guys, this is really, really concerning. I have about 9 BTC outstanding as well. About a day has passed since you said you'd resolve outstanding bets and there's a guy with 10 BTC out there who can't get paid, but people who are betting small are getting paid. I really hope I'm wrong but this isn't adding up. Please make sure the larger amounts are paid ASAP so we have some confidence we're not getting swindled out of thousands of dollars. If you're trying to be a legitimate business, your customers should NEVER have to feel this way. Completely unacceptable as the 10.5 btc payment has nothing to do with you figuring out the investment calculations. |
