Well you were correct that the price would rise before the halving, just not as high. You also were correct that it would drop after the halving but it went to about $500 rather than $800. I think it will rise more by the end of the year, but maybe closer to $800 by then.

Yes, the start of the year bitcoin was $300 and something. In that time, i never think that bitcoin will be go up as the members said because i was joined recently in the start of the year, and i have a first time experience of halving, but mostly predictions have been correct, also it is right, that in the end of the year bitcoin might be reached at $800.

In my opinion, anything about $1200 by 2017 is asking too much. That $3000 price is more like a wish than anything. Even if there are pumps that will come along the way, there will also be dumps to pull the price back. But everything will still depend on what's gonna happen by next year, which is more than 4 months away. Heck, even a lot of things can happen now until December 31st.

last year people yelling "bitcoin will hit $2,000 at least" etc etc ,
but yet until now 2016 the price of bitcoin did not reach even for $1,000 ,
i always doubt on this kind speculation unless there is a reliable factors that support this ,
everyone expectation are like that , so lets do something real action to make it happen

It depends on the situation, if indeed comrade bitcoin growth much higher and supplies bitcoin very thin for use. Then it would have been possible, because I think that bitcoin is also using the laws of economics. So this will not be something fabricated. just waiting for the future and keep some BTC to be used in the future

$1500-$2000 is still too high to happen in 2017. especially because of the fact that there is no way we get rid of the constant selling pressure we are dealing with. in order to get rid of this selling pressure, or at least get it down to such a level where the price can breathe again, the demand by people must increase significantly. and this is exactly what i don't see happen in 2017.

Yes price is unpredictable but we need millions of millions of millions of dollar to be put in the bitcoin market before that will happen which I doubt it won't happen because of "STABILITY" concerns.

Once the price hits $1000 and just a $10-$20 decrease many will follow the trend of dumping.

Yup We can give speculations for the Bitcoin's price but we can't expect that will oly comes as true. Bitcoin price is depends upon supply and demand globally and then blocks limit of mining half. I am sure definitely price will increase in future but slow pace only like 1k and more.

After the Bitfinex hack, I think the price will not be $1000 early next year. It could be $1000 this time next year.

I think we would have been at 3-4k easily by the end of 2017 if the bitfinex disaster happen. Thanks to those god forsaken bastards we have gone backwards a couple of months, so I don't know now how much it will take.


The pump will be fast and we will go up several thousand dollars in a matter of days so we never know.

It is not a question of if ever.It's a question of when it is going to happen!!
Regarding everyone becoming rich with such a price I really doubt it.To reach a 6 figure amount you would need 25 to 33 BTC at least!
That might not sound much but I'm sure the majority of the people here is not having that much coins.
Furthermore this would be a nice small amount of money but far away from being "rich".
The whales however would  really become insanely rich.But that's good because they would start spending some parts of their BTC for property and luxury goods, which again is good for more BTC distribution.

yes agree but maybe just our dream but if bitcoin ever be able to touch more than $ 1,000 why not get anywhere near $ 2000 though honest to touch more than $ 2,000 is very difficult, I can said it could happen but it's hard.
