Maybe high will be after 20 january next year with this megaupliad 2.0 integration with bitcoin
Megaupload 2 integration with bitcoin wont affect the price of bitcoin in any way. I dont think so it has any ties to the bitcoin market altogether , and to the actually OP is concerned a reality check of the price must be done. 3 to 4 k by the end of 2017 or by the year 2020 is a big task . 1k is a realistic price you can look up to.

I don't think that Bitcoin's price will increase highly to reach this price ($3k-$4k) in just one year, it needs more time in my opinion. But we will see because everything is possible in the Bitcoin's world

I think it's possible that Bitcoin reach $3k or even $4k by the end of 2017, if it the price will increase highly before June 2017, otherwise it will not be easy that price reach this level

It's going to be at 1 million per coin in 10 to 20 years, so who cares if it will be 1k or 5k in the next year. In the all time graph it will be seen as simple market noise.

realistically speaking, i think it will be a more than difficult target for the price to even reach $900-$1000 next year. not sure why certain people think it's so easy to reach $3000-$4000 in such a short period. that just doesn't make sense.

We will never see $3k or $4k by end of 2017 or Any Time Soon.
The fundamentals are all bad. Fubar, if you ask me. Why? Because the core developers are fighting to see whose schwartz is bigger. Too much ego contest, no leadership, no vision for the future, they're worried about short-term personal gains.
We will see bitcoin's demise within the next few years. $1 bitcoin, here we come!

Its going to be hard my friend for us to get to this high price. Many will be instantly rich from this kind of rise. We need to be happy as community if we get back on 750 where we was month ago. For me it's going to be great even if we hold this price until the end of the year and to rise after. Everything is good, just not to fall down anymore. I think people should have patience with bitcoin price, since I'm in bitcoins price rised for about 200 dollars, I think in next year price will also go up, just relax and take it easy.

its good your very optimist about bitcoin price but i think in 2017 bitcoin can't up until reach 3k dollar - 4k dollar is very imposible is bitcoin price only one year up until 5x , its take profit 500% in hold

No need to predict prices for bitcoins of times like end of 2017 etc. I think bitcoin is so volatile that we may not even predict the correct price even after one month.

Bitcoin is a market which can not be predicted correctly since it has limited supply as demand will increase price would go up. I think to expect $ 2k by end of 2017 will be more realistic approach as major halving event is just over. I don't see price hitting the mark of $ 4k even in next couple of years.

Not realistic in my opinion. Price had difficulties to get to $800 this year, let alone getting to $1k. All what is beyond is pure speculation, currently not based on any real arguments. If we have a game changer before the end of the year then we can come back to this discussion, but I don't see it for now.

I hope that happens but I think realistically the top may be 1500-2K by the end of 2017. 16 months is a lot of time and all it would take is one thing to change everything - a big company integrating bitcoin into their payment system, a new technology that integrates bitcoin, who knows what the possibilities are. I speculate that 2017 will be an interesting year for btc as we approach the year when no more bitcoin will be made.

Agree with you, to see such thing its use will have to be much more widespread, although the number of wallets it has increased exponentially since 2014, one would think that users have increased in the same proportion but perhaps it is not so, so talk of such high prices it is not very sensible now.

I also guess that we won't surpass $1500. The halving pump this year took a lot of volume and effort, yet it stalled shortly after crossing $800, which is roughly twice the starting price. Same happened November last year when the pump doubled the price (250-500).

Especially when you consider that each time we are going up nicely to higher levels, that something happens, and it takes the market down real hard again. It's no longer coincidence.

I have read some optimistic predictions about a potential increase in the bitcoin price to $1300 in a medium run, but I have some doubts about it, because bitcoin is losing ground to other coins and because of adverse scenarios that we all know. But I still will store my coins even when its price returns to $100 or $200.

This isn't going to happen. There won't be an ATH run up until after the halving, if ever. Sorry moon kids. Come one man! Nobody knows what will happen. Therefore your negativity makes no sense. Or are doing this on purpose because you hope the opposite will happen? You know like some kind of superstition. You're right, nobody knows for sure, but my opinion is that we won't be seeing a new ATH until after the halving, if ever. I have been following Bitcoin since late 2011 and was a miner through the first halving, and that's the experience I have in forming my opinion. I'd like to be wrong, but I'd bet a BTC or two that I'm not. There is a possibility that it can happen, but personally I dont think that it will happen because you can see that it is not even rising. It will be for sure in the future but not this years even that the halving is also coming it wont rise that much. Just have patience and it will happen maybe after 2 years.

Realistically a top of $2000 by the end of 2017? No way! Also, big companies accepting Bitcoin as payment tool doesn't mean the price will sky rocket. Keep in mind that Microsoft and other huge companies have been, and still are accepting Bitcoin as payment tool, but that the people aren't spending their coins.

That is only possible when we are for sure that it is rising for a long time and that is hard to know because Bitcoin is a currency and you never know what will happen later. But of course it can be nice if we can reach that high value so we can sell it with a lot of profit and that would be nice.
