Tried your Nano BIOS right now at my MSI, the conservative 100/100 version.
Flashed, reboot -> Game over. No screen, no windows, 100% fan speed, thats all.
Flashed back the org. ROM after using dual BIOS switch at card, fortunately it runs again now.

So "thanks" for the fright and 1/2 hour wasted mining time. Angry

you use MSI Nano? Where did you get them?

If I provided you good and useful info or just a smile to your day, consider sending me merit points to further validate this Bitcointalk account ~ useful for future account recovery...

You must have done something wrong then.

I have flashed all of my cards (100) several times. So i've probably flashed over 300 times already. NEVER had 1 problem.

There are a lot of others here that are using my rom, ask them, they are running it and do not have any problems.

Before you start flaming, read the previous posts from other users and perhaps ask some questions.

I'm here to help where i can with what i can.

1. Flash the stock rom back to your secondary bios, boot it from there, see if it boots.
2. If it does. Good. Flash the -100mV core, -106mV mem rom and COMPLETELY shut down your system, do not reboot, SHUT DOWN.
3. If this does not work, then it's probably a faulty bios, but definitely NOT the rom! I do not know for sure, but it "Could" be that MSI is different, although that i seriously doubt that.
4. If it does boot, completely remove your drivers, (DDU "display driver uninstaller"), also remove any oc software like Trixx, AB, ...

If you have any problems, questios, just ask, i'm here to help.

Greetings

Edit: Reuploaded the roms with a not so heavy underclock on the memory part.

-100mV Core Clock, -50 & -100mV Mem Clock

I had similar problem on one of my sapphire cards. I flashed the -200mV one. I had to use the bios switch and flash the -150 mV ROM. It works well now.

Tried it again thoroughly step-by-step, like you´d suggested - same result as above.

I´d uploaded my original MSI Nano BIOS here, if you are interested.
Maybe you can find any differences.

Ok, will check it out tomorrow and will mod core voltage to -100mV and mem voltage to -100mV as well.

Greetings.

Your card must be unlucky, i flashed -100CoreMem bios on msi nano and gigbyte nano, they seems to be working fine, didn't tested them for very long.

Eliovp, can I edit your modded Bios with Fiji Bios editor and change the target temperature to something below 75C?
Is there any other thing I should be aware of before flashing edited Bios through Fiji Bios editor?
Thanks.

I use the 15.11 and 15.12. There is no difference at all. I remember the OP use 16.4.1 or something like that.

Try this one, this should work perfectly!

You sure can.

Make sure any OC software is shut down or removed. Completely shut down computer after flash. Best to reinstall drivers.

Good luck!

Yup, even did a test on the newest one 16.5.*, works great. Smiley

Is that faster than the previous versions, such as the 16.4.1 or the 15.12 as required by the Claymore miner?

Did you notice any difference in the rom file that you edited for Termie? Haven't found a rom that works with my Gigabyte Nano yet, but I still need to try the -106mV, -112mV and -118mV ROMs.

PIMP your AMD & Nvidia Farm. Finally a Multi-Miner Linux 16.04 Distro with Web Monitoring and On the Fly Algo-Switching. My PIMP AMD/Nvidia FARM: https://miner.farm/farmer/554/farmstatus

Nope, not really, they're basically all the same.

The offset for core voltage vddc, and memory voltage mvddc can't be found in the roms, not my stock rom, not yours or anyone else theirs.

I have to add those offsets myself. So it basically stays the same for any nano rom.

Further, i have some other news for my 390nitro rom.

I tried, and tried and tried to modify my rom as much and as hard as i could (regarding memory voltage).

There was no way for me to add that offset, vddc offset is already included in the rom, so editing the core voltage settings is not such a big deal.

Anyhow, it seems that MVDDC is fixed on my 390 Nitro's, the MVDDC controller has no data interface so can not be programmed by ROM or driver.

I didn't want to believe that, but yeah, Sapphire raped me on this one :p

This does not mean that this is so for other 390 brands. I have an XFX one as well and that one is perfectly editable.

Anyhow, i changed the vddc value to -100mV and it runs like a baby now Smiley

Still screwing around to get the same results as The Stilt did with his mods for the 290's.

I'll get there! Smiley

What is the model of the XFX card? Is that the 1015 MHz version or the 1050 Black Edition? How low is the MVDDC?

Do you mean the stock VDDC or the MVDDC? I have the cards. I can undervolt it by -200mV and works well around 950 MHz.
