Has anyone tested the 390 cards? What is the best clocks and voltages.?

Heliox... have you tried messing with 480s yet?

Anyone have tried undervolting stock 480s?

I get about 24.5MHs per card and would like to save on power a bit more.

I dont mind losing 1-2 MHs if I can lower down watts by at least 50-60watts more.

Anyone tried this?

Where do I get this Wattman utility for RX480. Can it undervolt the 480?

If I provided you good and useful info or just a smile to your day, consider sending me merit points to further validate this Bitcointalk account ~ useful for future account recovery...

Anyone here have played with R9 Fury ?
I already have a R9 Nano but with a discount a can get a cheap R9 Fury ... but even if the perf and spec a similar, the power consumption seems really higher.
Does someone have informations about undervolt and power usage of a mining R9 Fury ?

PS :Does the R9 Nano ROM can fit in a R9 Fury ?

@Eliovp I Just find an old topic about your test of R9 Fury X (Mine will be a Fury not X).
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1116027.msg11950487#msg11950487

200W in casual algo and 300W for Intensive algo (Sia) ... seems high Cry
May you were pushing the cards hard ? There is probably a way to run them in a more efficient manner ?

I think the 500MHz is the default AMD R9 nano memory frequency. So you can move to there without problem.

yes..of course. But if you have Eliovp rom stock clock is 250 and when you install msi afterburner you can "overclock" untill 325..

ROM undervolt the RAM, so they are more power efficient for mining ... I don't know if they can handle the 500Mhz anymore after the voltage reduction.

Correct me if I'm wrong, I don't think the RAM will increase its voltage with clock increase through Afterburner.
Only the GPU clock does.

correct.. but if i push ram clock do 325 I must do +30/40mv on core to run stable. I don't know why

You need the high voltage RAM mod if you want to run 500 MHz. I only run ethereum, with 300 MHz.

Anyone tried Crimson 16.7.2?

Usually my stock Nano can do 22.5MHs

but on 16.7.2 (the latest to fix the 480 power overdraw issues)

the Nanos are now giving me 23.5MHs stock!

After you upgreade to 16.7.2, can you confirm to us about the results?
@citronick, do you use the dual miner to mine other coins as well?

I use Claymore 4.7 and mine only ETH - no dual mining.

I will do a screen grab

Can you try run it at 900/260MHz? I can get 26.2MH/s per card. I am wondering if you can get 4% increase as well.

Catalyst 15.12 give you 25-26MHASH on the stock clocked nanos.

I think we're talking about hashrate with Eliovp's Bios which downclocked to 800MHz core & 250MHz mem.
At that clock speed, despite upgraded to Crimson 16.7.2, I'm still getting 23.4MH/s hashrate.

Will this modded Rom work on the Sapphire Radeon R9 Nitro 390 GPUs or is this only on the nano version. Would be good if it works on them too or perhaps can make a mod for them too.
