good alt i think. because in market he stay at number 2. and as i know now many ICO or new coin using ethereum for payment so ethereum always alive and have a good future. so good for invest.

Ethereum is a potential coin and it is the next best coin after Bitcoin. As like Bitcoin Ethereum price also falls but don't worry about it since Ethereum will bounce very fast. I've seen a lot of posts positive and negative about Ethereum.

At the moment I am holding Bitcoins, but I have invested in some Ether as well.

Now I am wondering, what are legitimate concerns about Ether (except for IPO, as I've already read this in a lot of posts).

So can anyone bring real other issues to the table, to enlighten me (and maybe a lot of other readers?)

In my own opinion every coins here have it's own set of pros and cons but with regards to Ether, i do like it a lot maybe because i gain some profit out of it and it is the very first altcoin that i have invested. As i have observe, Ether is popular that its platform is being used by most projects here.

It is a GOOD alt but it requires a longer hodl time. Given the fact the market is down right now, you will need at least 6 months to earn a decent amount from the ETH you are going to purchase today. Keep in mind that ETH will be always on demand since it is being used for transactions on wallet and there are big inverstors that are heavily invested on ETH.

thats the key, i will only trust in bitcoin, i mean that every trade i made, i made it to get more bitcoins, in the end, is just to get more bitcoins, so to reply you about the main question, is to yes, go into eth if there is a good Price , not like now atm that i'm writing this, since i really think is overvalued now.

Ethereum is a coin with an ever-increasing development. so very good and potentially a very capable coin to be relied upon to become a coin that continues to increase. so as to increase the profit graph that may be received. so staying with Ethereum is the right choice.

A problem with this altcoin is that the complexity of Ethereum leaves it open to potential scamming. Projects with backdoor loopholes programmed into them could be possible. Sure you can bring third parties to ensure and regulate but that starts to defeat the whole purpose of blockchain

Why doubt for it, etherium is almost second to bitcoin and can even nearly surpass bitcoin compared to other alts. If you say no and stay away on it, then what else is better except bitcoin. Bitcoin struggles now, price drops low and still people believe on it, then we should believe on Eth too. Its more stable than bitcoin and I can say it is good for investment.

Well anyone can check the contracts so that's not really much of a problem. Follows the "open" philosophy which is good.

If you cant take the risk you should stay away from every altcoins but i think if you have the investment and you are a risk seeker, this is the best market for you. and ethereum is a stable and strong altcoin.
