Ethereum: Good alt or stay away?

Hi everyone, I've been around for a while now.. 
I've seen a lot of posts positive and negative about Ethereum.

At the moment I am holding Bitcoins, but I have invested in some Ether as well.

Now I am wondering, what are legitimate concerns about Ether (except for IPO, as I've already read this in a lot of posts).

So can anyone bring real other issues to the table, to enlighten me (and maybe a lot of other readers?)

In fact, this is a very interesting question. What is the potential of ETH? What is the maximum price to which it can grow? I think the reasonable price is a maximum 2000 dollars, but if there is a hype, then the price may rise to 3500, but then there will be a hard fall.

check the rank of ETH on the coinmarketcap site and also check thousands of tokens launched via ETH. these are good reasons for showing the value of ETH. if we do not have ETH it means it will be difficult to launch new projects.

It went from $380 to more than $820 without going down, that is the only thing that makes me a little bit scared when i put money into ethereum, it is risky to invest in a continuos bullish trend, well, at least for me.

I’m sorry but i could never stay away from ethereum, lol. The most nonsence thing that i’ve heard. Ethereum is one of the most reliable alts in the market and i think it’s very promising. Basically, it’s a good alt.

i think its a solid alt, but if you want to find the next x100 in the crypto market, you need to go with lower marketcap coins. ETH has almost the same downside potential, but the upside potential is limited

Ethereum have a potential I think lot people still have doubt in eth but as we can see ethereum is good investment too so I  advice why not try to invest or buy it. And I think it will grow more in the future.

Ethereum looks promising and its start outlines the potential. While bitcoin has grown from $ 6,000 to $ 9,000, the Ether has almost doubled.
I think Ether can easily reach up to 4 thousand dollars this year. Therefore, I see it as one of the main investment tools for 2018.

I think the Ethereum is a well-behaved token. It also has what I think they call the tokens. I know time is one. You use your race wallet and I'm not sure how it works, but it seems to support other currencies as well.

The most guys that just stayed away from Ethereum while it was at $300 again are really rekt right now. They really hope that Ethereum will dip agian to that price range, because the Ethereum price already doubled and the party is still not over

Etereum has lost it is trust because they hard forked and it led to the introduction of ethereum classic. It has not shown any tremendous performance during last year. Monero would be a better choice than ethereum in the upcoming year 2017.

If you compare Ethereum price to Dollar then you can't see much changed when Bitcoin jumped out the price. I still think it is very risky to hold your big part of investment in any Altcoin for long term.
