Ethereum: Good alt or stay away?

I see already 4 years that Ethereum is one of the biggest and best altcoin in the crypto world. It is said to be the next Bitcoin. The road map is also good.

I've known ethereum after I've joined altcoins world. When I joined first signature campaign it is the next coin after bitcoin that I've encountered. In my last job it is ethereum. Ethereum's value gets pumped as time goes by. It is also a good investment since many of my friends here in bitcoin are investing in ethereum. Ethereum is one of the good coins so far that I've encountered.

Buying an ethereum is always a good idea. The ethereum has both fallen and will rise, because in fact it does not have competitors at the moment, no matter how some people say that NEO and EOS are direct competitors to it. I think that Ethereum now has no competitors, so the price can fly up.

Hi everyone, I've been around for a while now.. 
I've seen a lot of posts positive and negative about Ethereum.

At the moment I am holding Bitcoins, but I have invested in some Ether as well.

Now I am wondering, what are legitimate concerns about Ether (except for IPO, as I've already read this in a lot of posts).

So can anyone bring real other issues to the table, to enlighten me (and maybe a lot of other readers?)

No doubt that ethereum is a good coin too. Yeah almost of the altcoin now get decreasing but it is advantage for those buyer because it is affordable for now and someday if it will rise it will gain a huge of profit. I said that ethereum is a good coin even it is low for now because if will arise again you will not regret that you choos it because here in ethereum it surely that you can gain a huge of profit. You only need to be patient also work hard fo le its.

just be careful with ETH. The whole altcoin market have started to go down except for a selected few. I do not think ETH will be spared from the bear market in the cryptosphere. People will start converting and holding BTC because it is now starting to be bought up again

No doubt the adoption has been massive.
But the problem is 99% of those tokens are garbage and even Vitalik is embarassed about it.
This is why ETC has a good chance to become the next big thing since it is not aimed to the general public but more towards commercial.

i really like to read and wrote a respond in this (old but beneficial thread) seeing that then Ethereum is bombarded via scammed Accusation and Nonsense throwing of unfounded claims and Accusation but nevertheless Ethereum is succeeding and leaving its critics complete of Envy for me cryptoworld is sort of a politics absolutely everyone is throwing unfounded accusation like a madman! for me Ethereum still worth to maintain.

ethereum always look good and they have very solid ceo and team, even they have prepared long term strategic project and this is very good

For me ethereum is the best altcoin and it is the second best investment coin after bitcoin. Ethereum is good for long term holding and good for trading too, if you can't do trade, at least you can make good profit by just holding it. Year after year ethereum shows its performance that it can compete with other altcoin, and the price is always up.
