Why would you stay away from ethereum , it is a very good kind of altcoin, I have tried to use this and it is multiple use kind of coin, when you trade your reward token from bounty participation you will need a gas which is needed to trade tokens, and when you buy tokens in the trading sites you will also need ethereum, so this is how ethereum is so good.
Guys, the question was asked more than 2 years ago when people did not really know much about Ethereum. Now we are all sure that it is great. Even Chinese financial specialists called it the best altcoin on the market. |

If you want only hold something then ethereum may be a best option, but if you want to participate in ICOs then you need some eth for sure, i personally always have about 10 eth for investing

ethereum is a good potential coin and it will be grow more in future, price of ethereum is low in these days i will be suggest you to buy and hold its for long time
Even if you want to participate in the ICO you must have Ethereum, because on average all ICOs always use transactions using Ethereum. |

Hi everyone, I've been around for a while now..
I've seen a lot of posts positive and negative about Ethereum.
At the moment I am holding Bitcoins, but I have invested in some Ether as well.
Now I am wondering, what are legitimate concerns about Ether (except for IPO, as I've already read this in a lot of posts).
So can anyone bring real other issues to the table, to enlighten me (and maybe a lot of other readers?)

For me it's the best alt so far. They managed to tie up the users to ETH by proving the basis for many ICO projects, what iny opinion is the next step in establishing crypto and blockchain as something that is here for a very long time ! i buy every week and hodl eth for 2-3 years

Lately ethereum transaction fees have been getting expensive. But I am still optimistic on eth. There are also many big companies using their network so it is hard to imagine it to just fall down easily. I even think eth have is more influential and powerful than bitcoin so maybe it can take top 1 soon.
