Yea, I read somewhere that bitcoin BTC is not an actual physical thing. It is actually a currency stored in virtual wallets and works like a bank. It does not have physical money locked away but it has value. I don't know for sure.

Well its not impossible, bitcoin can disappear and even the one who made it and even the one who used it can disappear, if you ask me in what way well I cant answer directly to that. And if bitcoin is scam no one will use it and no one will continue mining. yes, but it might be starting being unprofitable for miners to mine their coins so it might just go down if people decide not to mine any of the coins, that would be a tragedy to be honest

bitcoin actually theoretically might disappear in the future though i doubt that this will ever happen as in my opinion the miners will never leave it because its going to be profitable
