Actually, I very like Stellar and I think it has a huge potential. It is just a start of blockchain technology but Stellar works today. You can develop and use Stellar network for micropayments, mobile apps, cheaper TXs.

On june 27th, 2017 stellar will distributing up to 16 billion lumens to bitcoin holders and 1 billion lumens to ripple holders. How about stellar holders itself ? Why not get lumens distribution

There isn't a general signup right now. We have an invite system so at some point you will likely receive an invite from someone to claim some lumens.
