5 btc I will sell when price reaches to $1k and rest 5 btc I will save for the future hoping to earn much higher profits in future, its better to play safe and not take risk of investing it somewhere.

indeed save for long term bitcoin is very much better than gambling or else way but the main problem for long term holding is we never know in what year bitcoin will reach $1k or above and it takes more patience to waiting your target sell because for me waiting is the boring time in my life and currently long term holding doesn't suitable any longer for me

That's true holding for a long time is not guaranteed that you are going to earn from it. But if we are going to base it on what happened for those bitcoin millionaires it is the way that they did on how they did became a bitcoin millionaire. Well it is also good to consider that holding that amount up to your satisfactory price.

from my point view eventually holding will give you an advantage during bitcoin keep exist and you can be patient until prices rise above the price before you buy it.

I too would rather hold them for myself as there is not really much of an assurance of profit from trading because from personal experience from trading, I have not really profited that much with my trading so far as I am a small networth bitcoin trader.
I may try sports betting with just a small amount and test my luck and skills to see if I can make profits there.

It depends on your preference but  trading is much better than  sport betting, if you said that you wont  make good profits out of trading it normal because we suffer lossing trades just like gambling  it has the risk of losing your money. Sports betting is better  compared to other gambling games but its also a matter of luck only.

I think sports betting and trading can be compared at about equal risks.
At least if you know about the sport and the chances of winning for one side.
And in trading you should know the circumstances of the coins you are trading with.

AGree, trading could make you a millionaire if you have the right information but hte profit would depend on the amount you risk. As others said  the higher the risk the  big profit it would be.  Definitely,   betting is all about luck and  you are not sure what would be  the  result.

Right now 10BTC is around $6500; its really good money to startup that business you’ve always dreamed of. But for me, I think that’s just about enough to get the games I want on Steam, cause that’s all I really need bitcoin for at the moment. I’d probably have $500 left which I would use to invest, if I ever need to use it again for another purpose.

Yeah you need to be very careful while investing in altcoins as their future is unpredictable and it can be really risky as we don't know how long it will survive.

LOL, sounds like a gamble I guess. Because if you want to invest we must understand and know the ins and outs about the site. Rather than just relying on luck and if this is done constantly I think you will go bankrupt and lose money in vain because without a mature strategy. Yes and 10 btc is really a huge amount to invest in those sites as if they run away with your coins then it will be a huge loss for you and it will make difficult for you to recover that loss.

At this point of time altcoin trading is an best option, but its always better to start with small amount so if I have 10 btc with me then I will prefer to invest 2 btc in altcoin trading and rest I will save for future.

That's the saddest part of it, for sure no one is going to give 10 bitcoin for real. But well, op is just getting some reasons if ever he is going to give someone his 10 bitcoin. And there is no problem at all if we are going to think about something that we are going to do if we already have 10 bitcoin.
