I need some HELP, please!

I am using the old wallet, it did sync but for some reason, it does show only unconfirmed balance.
I want to send my coins to NOvaexchange, but i cant cos of this.  What should i do ? I got 500,000 EXP in my ESP1 wallet.  It used to work very well, but now when i open it,  after the syncing finishes it keeps saying unconfirmed 500,000 ESP.

What could be the problem?
Help me, please

Best regards.

EDIT: I have 15 active connections to espers network.

Just forget about them.
In old wallet -salvagewallet don't work.  Cheesy

Backup your dat file and re-sync your chain. Should fix your issue, @Samai. Salvagewallet never really worked on btc either lol.

When you say " re-sync your chain", you  mean to close and the open the wallet again ?
cos i did this, and the problem persist. It does confirm my coins, but it was working fine 5 days ago.

No I mean delete your client's downloaded chain and re-sync.

Are you on windows?

@Everyone

1: KEEP CALM

2: the chain has been recalibrated. It won't even really be a hardfork. Please just update your client as soon as the new one is posted here in the next few minutes.

3: Git is being updated shortly as well.

4: change will take affect in two days (you have two days to download the new 0.8.4.1 client)

And thank you for being a part of this. This is really a minor hiccup

30.000 or 32.000 block is better for fork!

30,000 is ~3/4 days. 20,000 is ~1/2 days. We really should have the change come sooner rather than later.
Nova is really the only exchange currently running the client as the others are waiting for after swap ends.

So if everything simply upgrades their clients everything will be fine. you don't have to do anything special. No resync, nothing just run the new one.

Only upgrade client (w/o hardfork) will make the collapse of the network. You need add new
Code:
static const int64_t COIN_YEAR_REWARD4 = 25 * CENT
which will work after new nHeight

Okay just a quick question..which wallet are you receiving the coins? The old or new esp wallet?

cryptopia is still using esp 1.
yes the esp1, i want to swap my coins on nova, but still 0 confirmations

sorry for answering late. yes my first 3 withdrawal gone through, but the later 2 were stuck, nothing specifically mentioned, theres only 0 confirmations there, already sent a ticket but support says its already broadcasted
anyway is there really no link to the old wallet? i still have bout 400m in the wallet

That's not a major concern at the moment. Some pools have been notified and apparently wish to wait.
With PoS it's not that big of an issue and there actually is some hashrate from solominers.

@Everyone

You need add new
Code:
static const int64_t COIN_YEAR_REWARD4 = 25 * CENT
which will work after new nHeight

Um, check the github. Corrections have already been made

Uhm, Novaexchange already said they were ready for the new 0.8.4.1 update. Please stop jumping to conclusions.

the new 0.8.4.1 client is esp2 right?

Yes it is Smiley Download it and enjoy

You need to send your ESP1 to Novaexchange and swap it there for ESP2, then download the new client from the 1st post of this ANN and withdraw your ESP2 Smiley

Yes, am on windows.

Question: If i delete my Esp1 wallet, the one that have my coins,  how will i get the coins back.  I already back up the wallet.

You have a backup of your wallet.dat? Just making sure before I telly you to delete your ESP data folder.

Yes i do.

Okay do you know how to delete your Espers data directory? If not please let us know what OS you are using.
If you do know how to then delete the data directory and re-sync.

Delete EVERYTHING in that folder (besides the wallet.dat if you want to save a step)

Then open the client again

We are actually going to be releasing guides and videos for much of this. It's just one thing at a time. Initial launch is always a little rocky but it's been leveled out now as far as codebase so now we can focus on other things such as guides.
