Good sign of dedicated miners ;-)

Yeah that was me. I turned one of my compute clusters towards mining esp. Thats the performence im getting. It draws a crap ton of power though. Word to the wise. If anyone that mines crypto decides to deploy a compute cluster, make sure you can feed it with 3 phase power. When I get a chance Ill point another blC7000 Compute Cluster that has 32 Xeon X5670s and see what kind of performence I get. I will post when i get a chance. I expect it to be in the range of 4000 to 4300khs though based on experience from other cryptos. It burns 6000 - 6500 watts though in single phase mode.

and why would you do that?
you can have the same hashrate with 1 or 2 gpus and 1/30 of the power usage.

You will need way more than 1 or 2 GPU, more like 10...

I never thought of 3 phase... will the psu's take that? Any special wiring for the psu for 3 phase? Thx

The compute cluster has to accept 3 phase. It can accept single phase as well. There is a module you have to have for three phase to work, that replaces the single phase. If your running it from home, on a standard electrical setup from the power company you dont have three phase ability though. You have to have a special transformer, (set up) from the power company to be able to make the three phase module work on these c7000 clusters... and thats just to start with. Then you have have to provide three phase wiring to the debarkation point from the fuse box, terminating with special plug sockets that are nomenclature specific to the module distribution converter.  Also their is some software set up steps for the enclosure that needs to be done to get the full functionality.

And Palas.. just working with what i have.
I dont have any 290x
I have a pitcairn, but it needs configuration. sgminer dont see it because its in a mixed nvidia system.
All my cards are nvidia
Lets talk about compiling a ccminer varient for this!

If you check my miner setup list you can clearly see that nobody is able to get anywhere near the MH/s range. Even the 290X.
So its not just me who is having trouble.

sadly its one of those "inside private miner program" situations, tho not as malicious as some may say. its just so happens wolf works with AMD so his awesome kernal works specifically for AMD. nividia gets the cut, its was not the intention but now espers has officially UNFAIR MINING. and tht just sux. tho its cool to see users like buddy above making the "best of what he has" and getting insane hashes heheee . damn thats alot of cores ;p

It would be pretty big to get listed on Polo but in the mean time just keep developing and things will take care of themselves...
