An vulnerability has opened up for a specific user give themselves an insane amount of Bitcoins. These has been used to trade in the markets, balances has been re-arranged.


All in all, BTC, DOGE and ESP balances cannot be trusted, the vulnerability caused the attacker insert a transaction within deposit systems. But did not think that Novaexchange is a young exchange that doesn't bank a lot of coins. The total volume of BTC in the most important wallet was 3.82 BTC before the attack, not a huge amount but that does not mean it is not painful for some.

The attacker themselves did not get away with anything - actually it is happy users that got traded in ESP market during the last few hours that became happy they sold for BTC and withdrew everything. Which caused the wallet to go empty.

All trades and such is logged and I could technically do a rollback of all trades even if it will take a lot of time to sort everything out. Which would you prefer?
I am concidering to close down the exchange permanently once you have withdrawn your coins, unless the community gives any reason for Novaexchange to stay around. I wanted the site to become a serious player in this business with a lot of alt-coins that other exchanges refuses to trade, that was the idea behind Novaexchange.

Withdrawal is not working.......... No confirmation email from them!!!

Same here. Shame of you novaexchange and Your partner (Developers of Espers).

Shame on you for comments like that! First of all an investment is not a gamble SO YOU SHOULD DO YOUR OWN RESEARCH! This includes the exchanges you use! Second of all your really dumb thinking that devs that devote their life to this project, do a giveaway of 20% total supply would scam anyone...

I'm also in community of loser from nova! LoL! Today sold 40000000 esper for 40000000 BTC! Did send request withdraw 0.39920000 Btc , confirm by Email and it was successful! Then it show delayed! Now, i find empty btc wallet in nova! EVEN there is no record of that transaction!

Guys any thought?

There is always some action around this project, philakone, yobityobit race, transaction fee which can destroy you wallet , fake accounts for claiming giveaway, private GPU-miner-v0.25BTC, hacking exchanges to get esp, 100BTC walls, scam, scandals

Now my 300000000 Esper withdraw from Nova also showing Delayed! Anyone have the same issue!

the Dev team is working their asses off and doing great and holding their own ! and this is actually a great show of value to this coin .

I somehow, dont ask me how, forgot pa password... The wallet is empty, but i want to transfer something into my wallet, and must reinstal in now.

stop the client... move the wallet.dat somewhere (maybe you'll remember the password later), start the client and you should be good to go with a fresh start..

You are letting the Nova owner off the hook too easily. Can at least one person confirm that they managed to sell their airdrop successfully on Nova and got the 3+ BTC safely to their wallets?

Nova esp wallet was fully loaded and ready to withdraw billions of coins
