Hi guys, I just recently gained interest in ESP. Can someone here explain to me what ESP2 is and why no one is using it?
Thank you!

1. What ESP is, you can read on the first post of this thread.
2. ESP2 is ESP. There used to be something called "ESP 1" (which used to be ESP back then), which was swapped to the new chain that we are currently running. Yobit is still running ESP1, which is the old chain.
3. Why nobody is using it is because this is still alpha-stage software. The goal is to have a general framework for running services on blockchain, that's what people will use it for it when it's ready. Until then, the software is being developed.

but not staking rewards today.

Don't worry, staking will resume after they will finish updating the client, as you may noted the wallet is under maintenance.

Since mining seems to be complicated for many people, heres a small how-to.. If anyone here is mining with AMD GPU, could you send me the .bat line you are using.

A guide to mine ESPERS with a CPU or GPU

CPU:
Download a miner from
http://cryptomining-blog.com/7805-new-cpuminer-multi-fork-with-hmq1725-algorithm-support/

Extract the files to a folder on your desktop, and locate the RUN-AMD or RUN-INTEL file, (CHOOSE WICH BRAND CPU YOU HAVE)
Right click the chosen file, and edit it

Change after: -o stratum+tcp://stratum.minertopia.org:3747 -u YOUR ESPERS WALLET ADDRESS -p c=ESP -t AMOUNT OF THREADS YOU WANT TO USE

If you want to utilize your whole CPU, remove the -t part.
Run the .bat file you chosen (based on wich brand CPU you have)
Enjoy, you are now mining!

GPU (NVIDIA)

Download a miner from (ccminer 2.0 and forward has HMQ1725 in it)
https://github.com/tpruvot/ccminer/releases
Extract the files to a folder on your desktop
Choose one .bat file, right click it and hit edit.
it should look like this

ccminer-x64 -a HMQ1725 -o stratum+tcp://stratum.minertopia.org:3747 -u YOUR ESPERS WALLET ADDRESS -p c=ESP
pause

Save and exit, and run the .bat file
Enjoy, you are now mining with GPU

Sorry boys, no AMD tutorial for now, i dont have AMD card, and i have never used SGminer, but it should work with the same parameters.
