Exactly what the title says.

If bitcoin dropped to the price of a dollar (which we hope it never will), what would you do? Buy more and hold, sell? Buy a promising altcoin like ETH?

I personally would buy more bitcoin.

If bitcoin dropped to 1$, I will not stop with it. That is life, sometimes it falls, sometimes it rise, maybe if bitcoin dropped to 1$, it is time to fall, but there is also a time for rising. In Bitcoin History, there are so many up and downs of the value of the btc. So it's not impossible to bitcoin to rise and fall. Just earn and earn. Smiley

I would buy as much as possible, because I believe it will rebound, then I will sell in a short time.

The fact that autocorrect will fix it (assuming that it was a sudden drop to $1), then I would definitely try to get my hands on as much bitcoin as possible. That is if I am awake and aware when that happens.

That will never happen, bitcoin will never fall to that level ever in future, if we see major dump in future then $400 maximum bottom nothing below then that.

$10 is too small to invest, I think you should atleast invest $100 and buy 100 btc so if price reaches to moon in future then you will be the king holding 100 btc in your wallet.

I would like this to happen to regain this chance by buying at least 10 K Bitcoins if it hits again 1$.This will be temporary phase if ever happens but this can be only dream to imagine this happening. This will never happen we all know this.I am ready to catch if it drops that lower.Who will not collect many Bitcoins in this case as title says.

That is my dream too, having the chance to go back to 2010 or earlier and net some nice amount of bitcoins with that awesome price to buy and waiting patiently to sell it when it reaches 400 or 500 USD. This way we would all be rich , but this remains an utopia for the moment.
I just did not expect it to happen? why? because imagine if it happened of course a lot of people will suffer huge losses ?
and I'm sure they will have fear to join again with bitcoin?
something that the dead will be difficult to awaken again ? trust me back to $1 will not be what you want

We have the same opinion, if bitcoin price would go down I will purchase bitcoins in Volume and hoard it. Until such time that the price will go up I will let it sleep on my multiple wallets and convert to cash if price go back up again.

I will buy like $100 worth of bitcoin if the price will dropped to that very cheap amount, but to be honest it's impossible now to reach to that amount because many users are getting forced to buy because of the price that continuously rising.

If bitcoin ever drops to $1/btc.

i will cash out 60% of my saving and buy btc with all of it and hold my hand tight together everyday and pray for it to raise once again hahaha
The chance is really low that it can drop to that low and that is because you have to know that the value of Bitcoin will be higher and that it is now rising for a long time.
But not everyone will ever know what is going to happen with the value of Bitcoin and that is the problem.

Bitcoin will never fall that low as that seems to be impossible, and if price falls some of users will get panic and quit bitcoin while others will buy as much as they can.
It will be really hard to know what is going to happen in the future but you have to know that there will be more people that is holding their Bitcoin because the value is rising.
But of course there will be also a moment that it will go fall down and that is bad of the currency but around this time it is rising.

@Newbies

Bitcoin has already crashed that hard and did fine.

Research MtGox Crash (June 2011) and the subsequent drop to sub $2.00 in Dec 2011.

Those were fun times.

if the bitcoin dropped to just one dollar i think that means the end of the bitcoin cryptocurrencie for sure because i dont think that people are holding coins when he is 1 dollar and wont rise.

Well not all are going to give up when the price of bitcoin down to $1 since it is decentralize possibility of dropping is there. But the advantage is
as long as there are users out there, for sure it will going to pump and I'm the one that will going to buy more if the price goes to $1.
It is a good opportunity.

ill gonna buy a lot of bitcoin if that time will come cause I know it will increased later on  for me its the perfect time to invest .
What do you think prices will rise after bitcoin down deep? I think you need to look at the situation before going to buy bitcoin with a very small price. I worry if the price does not go up

I think that I would buy as many coins as possible so that in the future a can make millions even tho the chance is small of both happening there is still a chance.
Lol what do you think after prices dropped sharply towards $1. then the price will return to $ 00-$1000? I think it's something that is impossible. I'm sure people will no longer believe in the bitcoin. people who have suffered a major loss, may be afraid to rejoin

For me bitcoin will die instantly and for many other users too i think, cause nobody want to use currency like dollar when you can use dollar without any problem.

I don't think bitcoin will die instantly if the price drops to $1 and still there are many people who wants to buy a lot of bitcoin if the price goes down.
So, the demand again is going to be high so it is going to be a price fluctuation again and it is going to increase again.
if there's a dump, there will be always a pump.

Lol I would do the same thing as you if I bought 1,000 bitcoin at current price around $700 total  $700,000 then I realized the bitcoin price dropped to $1 my 1,000 bitcoin worth $700k turn to $1,000 definitely frustrating. But if I didn't hold any bitcoin and the price just dropped I would buy it $1,000 for 1,000 bitcoin!

I'm in 400,000 euros debt , dont help me , i rather die

so you consider bitcoin dead if it ever reaches 1 dollar ? what if this happen and more people get interested in these cheap coins and the market thrills again after a while ?
bitcoin's live does not depend on the price, it depends on its decentralized network

We can't stop those people that tells bitcoin will be dead if it reaches to $1, but for me, bitcoin will still be use that time. Why? Because it still has a
value and things that have value, is still going to be productive and useful. Unless if it will going to be no value at all.
