Also - until when can we join the signature programme?
There's a programme by Waves right now that many of us are participating in.
I will participate in RISE afterwards because I embrace it - can I launch later on?

Please elaborate and explain more clearly how/if Rise will run Smart Contracts. Thank you.
Justin may have overlooked that Lisk was not designed for smart contracts because he was thinking about getting smart contracts to work on Rise. We'll get confirmation of that from him asap to find out what happened. Are there any languages left for translation? What are you looking for? There are tons of languages left because there are hundreds of languages in the world, so far we have less than 20. We only want translations completed by people that are competent in that language. Also - until when can we join the signature programme?

We would prefer people to participate in the signature campaign before the 28th (end of wave campaign) but the conditions say you need to make 40 posts. If you can get the 40 posts between the 28th May and the 10th June you should be fine to participate. Thanks for sharing, Cormac. I say that, as a qualified tradesman myself. We need to brain-storm how crypto can be used in the building game, me thinks. Awesome to meet another crypto enthusiast and fellow tradesman... you are surely a rare breed too! I tried to get people to pay me for my work in crypto before but they found it too complicated. It still needs to be easier to use for the general public.

Ok thanks. One thing I'd like to express, no offense at all, but are the escrow persons trustable? Why have you chosen them. I've heard bad things about Bittrex so please forgive me skepticism here.

Afaik, there have been no loss of funds at Bittrex? Also, it's Richie Lai as a person who would do the escrow as opposed to Bittrex itself. Richie is a public person with a massive interest not to do anything that would damage his reputation. The same can apply to John of Coinomi in that his reputation is of paramount importance. On top of that, it's 2 of 3 multisig meaning 2 people would have to collude. On top of that, everyone is public and 2 colluding people taking funds incorrectly would result in instant law enforcement actions.

Or let me first ask whether Acre tokens will be issued as open-ended?
Not sure I completely understand the question but if you mean "can we create as many Acre coins as we go?" the answer is: No, on condition we get enough funding to start project acre via the success of the Rise ICO. Open-ended means you will be able to issue additional tokens after the initial issuance. So let's say the Rise ICO raises $100, and you need $120 to commence your operations. You will need to issue $20 worth of Acre tokens. Then it's simple to calculate how much share Acre holders will have. What I'm asking is, if you need $50 more at the end of the first year, let's say, whether you be able to issue additional Acre tokens to make up that $50. Every sophisticated investor will want to know such details. Bump I've learned enough to be able to handle small to medium sized constructions. Small being a single house, actually just finishing up one now... here's a pic. Please repost pic - thanks.

I'll let Alty answer this one.
But there are a lot of variables and legal advice we would need to acquire before pushing project acre. That's why we are focusing on Rise as our primary objective momentarily.

The only scenarios there would be a separate funding round (meaning separate tokens issued) is if Rise doesn't make enough btc during the ICO to allow Acre to establish itself with a first build... or, there was a great deal of demand for a side project, in which tokens specific to that side project could be issued to investors. Please repost pic - thanks.

Was thinking of investing yet i only have about 0.07 btc on my wallet. How much RISE can i get with such amount? And would this be like Waves that the number of RISE we have upon investing will continue to decrease until the ICO ends?

Hi Rise Team, Your first post says this... Will Rise be Different From Lisk? We picked LISK as a starting point due to how it was designed to run Smart Contract, Dapps, and had an easy to use, nearly ubiquitous programming language as it's base, to have the widest possible audience to start with. ...but Max from Lisk says this... Differences:
- While Ethereum is a smart contract platform, Lisk is a dapp platform. That means at Ethereum you can only develop single smart contracts which costs real ETH for every step, and you need to combine several contracts to form one dapp.
Disadvantages:
- At Lisk you can't develop smart contracts which are always being performed by all miners on the network.
Please elaborate and explain more clearly how/if Rise will run Smart Contracts. Thank you. I want to apologize for the confusion. The OP was mistaken with commenting about Lisk being capable about smart contract's. Alty's suggestion that when that comment was written, Smart contracts were being discussed heavily between myself and my development partner, as it was on my mind it made it into that comment about Lisk. Max, of course, is correct, that Lisk cannot do smart contracts, but that is by their choice. I like the concept of Smart Contracts, as a separate function from DApps, which would provide the same functionality. As such, we will be building Smart Contracts into the system. We are still working on an overall roadmap to prioritize development, so we will see where Smart Contracts land in the process, but it is something I want to build into Rise prior to launch.

Greek translation is now complete thanks to killerjoegreece https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1465148.msg14787241#msg14787241Dutch translation has been reserved by Fruitsbasket. A reminder... we do not accept copy and paste translations that have been run via translation software, in general they are nonsensical. Please keep translations manual (hand typed) only. Hi also Slovenian is ready (with brain translated and hand typed): http://[Suspicious link removed]/forum/index.php?topic=7949.0 Thank you for the Slovenian translation, added to the OP! Edit: With our still in newbie status it won't let us post outside links like [Suspicious link removed] Thx.. Soon you will be out of Newbie

It will be the same as WAVES / LISK - number of RISE ICO tokens is fixed so with each deposit 1 RISE = more value and thus decreasing at such how much much you will get for 0.07 BTC is to soon to tell could be 10 rise could 10000.

Thank you for the answers. Now it's clear. So this is more like an IPO rather than ICO.
